Anyone who was prepared to attack the track (Kozza David Josh) did not have a problem. -

As you are obviously a track prep expert IMO,why don't you go and give Razor the benefit of your wisdom. -
Become more bitter and twisted?.

Do you think one of the supermarkets would go for a sponsorship package whereby if you present your programme you get a discount off your bill? With 4 supermarkets in Berwick, it might be attractive to them, plus they would be able to directly measure the benefits of the deal. It would also save the punters a bit on their shopping bill, thus making a night at the speedway even more viable?

Torness probably better than Dunbar, closer to Berwick and a lot of unused land available I would of thought.Personally I do not know if this is north south east or west of Berwick.

WJM might be onto something here, probably get bigger crowds.

Why not do this for the whole league, where you get your card stamped at any track and free entry at any track when you have the required amount.

OK folks, here is the situation at Berwick. I have spoken to George Hepburn, and he is quite happy to be named on here. The crowds at Berwick are at a level that is not going to be sustainable at current rates, there is not a bottomless pit of cash to go into the club. This is the simple fact. It worries me that this is the case. We’re not the only club in this position either. It has been a particularly bad year with weather and injuries, but the club has still managed to lift a major trophy. The promotion even managed to sign a much sought after number 1 in Ricky Ashworth. We need to get more numbers through the gate and the promotion are open to anyone approaching them with what they want to see in order to get them coming regularly to speedway at Shielfield. They are aware of negative comments posted on here and cannot understand why certain criticism is not brought to their attention in person. All members of the promotion are open to what the fans would like to see. In my opinion they have listened and acted upon a large number of requests from fans and riders, but yet some feel it is worth having a go. It is beyond me why some still continue to snipe at the club. I can only think that they have some personal agenda. I don’t pay much attention to what a certain Big Eddie posts on here, but I have to admit that he is right about supporting the club. We have to get together as Bandits supporters next year and make sure our club survives.
