  1. Bugger!!! That counts me out. Was looking forward to a sunny afternoon at the showground.

    Lakeside v Newcastle 24/8/18

Alleluya! At last a modest backlash. This guy certainly does bear a grudge. Perhaps a bit of therapy's needed.
  3. Excellent meeting IMO but I'm a neutral. That will bring me back to speedway after over 2 years away but a sunny Sunday afternoon at the showground can be more pleasurable that a weekday somewhere else. I left Arena on Friday before the end because it was boring - and my team were winning. I reckon newcomers would have enjoyed this meeting. As for Scotty. He knows the Arena track well so when Panthers visit next expect a good score. But I won't be there. Thanks also for holding up proceedings. Last minute decision and roadworks so I was late.

    Rye House 2018

Apologies for being late to the party but what the hell has happened here? As soon as I decide to take in a meeting I find my local club doesn't exist anymore. Not only that but the fact that something odd has happened at Team BMR in the BTCC as well. It changed its engine supplier this season for "economical reasons" and gone from the Championship winner to an also ran this season. Did they take on too much ?

    Lakeside 2018

Pardon me for asking but if there has recently been promotion/relegation matches and Sheffield lost out, how can a team just decide to enter anyway? Does that mean Sheffield will want to enter as well?

    Leicester Lions 2018

What's going on? I watched the so called Promotion/ Relegation playoffs and Leicester won- easily. So what's all this stuff about Lakeside and Ipswich? If they are going to return what's to stop Sheffield from going up as well. I assume they do want to go up don't they?
  7. Rye House have 3 meetings this week. Was the televised one cheaper? They looked to have a good crowd on TV but how about yesterday? Are speedway supporters so flushed they can go to all 3? And all because of a cut off point for the playoffs where the 4th team can win the league.

Rye House Vs Poole 28/8/17 7.30pm.

The guy doesn't like Tatum OK?

    MÃ¥lilla Gp 2017

Rosco did do a reasonable job. Simply mentioning the topic of engines and engine tuners raised the game above the same old bland filler stuff. Motorsport can't possibly be dependent on the the driver/rider alone so just to skim over engineering matters as though the viewer won't be able to understand it is to miss an important part of the sport IMO. So well done Scotty and Roscoe. Kelvin could contribute so much more but doesn't. Why? Next step - drop the pointless interviews between races.

Poole Vs Rye House Thurs 10/8/17

Don't blame Middlo for not being able to motivate KK. Or demotivate him. He can do that very well himself. Filling the reserve birth in a UK league must be quite an experience for him but when he gets into the main body will be the test of his motivation. PS well done Rye

    Rye V Swindon 5/08/17

Still no reserve. What happens? Do they ask for volunteers?

    Rye V Swindon 5/08/17

Amazing. I'm 5 miles away and it's bright and sunny. Looks like the dark clouds overhead at midday got blown over North London

    Rye V Swindon 5/08/17

Kennett would be a useful guest when KK can't make Saturdays

    Rye V Swindon 5/08/17

Still no news of the Rye reserve. I hope there's a flash of inspiration like the one that snapped up KK - that caused the cockup. Of course this has to be a learning season but this latest aquisition looks more like a publicity stunt than anything else to keep the interest up. How many other fixtures will this talented but unreliable rider miss?

    Cardiff 2017

I think you've sussed it. Book Jeremy Corbyn for Cardiff 2018. Just before the election
