    Swindon 2015

If it's also the 6 point rider I think it is I will be pleased, with the right number 1 we will be competitve IMHO.

It won't be Mads, believe he's taking a year out from the UK.

The "asset system" is outdated & should be scrapped but it won't be. Swindon own Doyle's registration so are entitled to a transfer fee if the rider doesn't want to ride for that club. No other country operates this system but that's just the way it is over here.

A question, how do you all know what we can/can't pay....here's a thought for you all. Swindon say they want to use Doyle (this may or may not be true), by doing this & Doyle wanting to go elsewhere means a full transfer to that club rather than a loan fee. No one other than the two guys in charge know what is really going on so all this speculation is drival IMHO.

Not a bad side put together by the BV management, I do have one question tho - what average will Fricke be on? If he's 5.02 surely that puts BV over the 34 points? Zagar - 8.29 Nicholls - 7.56 Stead - 6.92 Cook - 6.21 Fricke - 5.02 34.02?? Or have I converted Fricke's 8.07 prem average wrong? 8.07 / 1.6???

    Why do you say that?

    Swindon 2015

I don't think it is Morris...In a previous article the rider criticises Darcy quite haevily which I can't see happening from Morris as they're mates. Also, the rider mentions being able to cover costs for flights, Morris has yet to ride abroad. I think it's a foreign rider who's ridden here as well as other league.....

I really don't understand what the crap is with Batch, let's be perfectly honest here...he's professional, committed to swindon...what more do you want? I've just worked it out....we want a nobody

Miedzinski would be a decent signing for the robins if it's true he wants back in over in the Uk. We're running out of options for a number 1 with Doyle wanting a return to Leicester & Killer not interested. AM would come in on a 8.21 average, that would allow over 6.5 for the final team spot.

Morris has a British passport. His parents are English.

Rosco confirmed he wasn't a swindon assest the other day. This was on the Facebook thread.

    Swindon 2015

If Haworth is the "unnamed former robin" I can't see him riding for Workington (his parent club) as they've now 6 out of 7 riders named with over 7 points left to play with. If he's the rider get him signed up so we have first pick for any clashes (assuming he doubles up of course).

Emil won't be at Swindon. If available I would be more than happy with Darcy.

    Swindon 2015

Evening all, I've not posted in a while but I thought I'd pipe up. Can everyone seriously tell me they would not be happy with holder at swindon as number 1. This is a world class rider who would be an excellent signing if it was to happen. People need to get realistic & realise that Killer will not be back next year. With that said we need a powerful number 1 upfront. If & I mean if holder was available we'd be stupid not to make the move. With Batch, Morris & Haworth (by all accounts a done deal) that would be a good 4 to start with. Would leave just over 6 for the remaining rider....those who fit are mads, Michelsen, Pavlic (will never happen) & many more. If I had my choice it would be Michelsen, when he rode the Abbey he was fast as hell, would easier improve his average & provide excellent 2nd string support to the top 3. If Holder was unavailable I would like Kasprzak, that guy is on the up & last time he rode the abbey he maxed out from memory. World class nowadays

    Leicester 2014 . Elite

Doyle will only ride for Leicester next year Somerset have just confirmed.
  18. The local paper in swindon are running a Webchat with Swindon & Gb manager Alun Rossiter on Friday & would like as many speedway related questions as possible whether that be Robins questions, GB questions or anything which you feel is relevant with the coming speedway season. People can tweet their questions using #askrosco to @andywarren_ or by leaving comments on the story itself through the link below: http://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/sport/10954433.Live_webchat_with_Rosco_this_Friday/ Thanks all,

    Robins 2014

Nicolai klindt for the last spot for me, if we can get the rider like we had in 2011 he'll add at least 2 points to his low 4+ average.

    Robins 2014

The only issue with a swede which is why I'd question it (I know Thornblom is Swedish) is if they've an Swedish Thursday club, I'm sure Gustafsson has/did have. That will be an issue if so, I'd be happy with him though if he was available every meeting.

    Robins 2014

    Complete leftfield guess....Mathias Thornblom

    Rebels 2014

Looks like Nick has been removed from the Somerset side in a reshuffle due to Brady Kurtz coming in on a 5 & not a 3. Kurtz has a Danish licence apparently which is the reason for the increased average according to our local media man in swindon. I guess as swindon will have priority over Somerset for any clashes they've decided to keep Olly Allen over Nick. I maybe wrong mind, but that's how it appears.

    Robins 2014

He replied to my tweet confirming that the 2nd signing is being announced tomrw. We should then have an idea on the make up of our side IMO.

    Robins 2014

    Nick Morris confirmed, official website.

    Lakeside 2014

So Lakeside has signed Mikkel Bech, got used to a small track at Plymouth so that should help him. Very good signing on just over a 5 average IMO in a weaker league.
