    Leicester 2019

There was a lot of rain yesterday & overnight but it is windy which should help to dry the track & supposed to be light rain this afternoon then dry and sunny from 4pm - I'm ever the optimist so will still plan my day to go - but don't have far to travel
  2. Yes, no ,possibly, yes, definitely, maybe But the most important question is will iainb cheer up - I think we all know the answer to that one lol
  3. Lasse Bjerre will not be there - he's riding in the Czech Golden Helmet meeting
  4. Magnus was taken out & pushed into the fence bend 1-2 & was down for quite a while - the report was leg problem - rode in the rerun & his next two races but didnt look right & was replaced for his last ride. Jari landed heavily on his shoulder - got the bike off the track but seemed in a lot of pain - was given a ride back to the pits on Edinburgh bike but apparently spent the rest of the meeting in the back of the ambulance; ironically this was Jaris best meeting for a while.

Rye House V Leicester Pl 27 August

Well done Lions - a good 3 points which puts us back to 2nd place (for a few days) but it should have been 4 points - why was the tactical ride not taken in heat 7 when 10 down with Lasse to ride ?
  10. Leicester have changed their riding order - so it's now :- Kauko Nieminen Jari Makinen Lasse Bjerre Linus Eklof Magnus Karlsson Lewis Blackbird Jan Graversen
  11. 15 out of 16 riders were named during last nights interval but I didn't write then down - from memory Kauko Nieminen Magnus Karlsson Lasse Bjerre Jan Graversen Henning Bager Ryan Fisher Leigh Lanham Patrick Hougaard Ricky Ashworth plus 6 others I cant remember
  12. The 16 names will be revealed during the interval on Saturdays clash with Rye House (according to Lions website)
  13. I think I will make the trek - will be supporting David Howe as he's the nearest thing to a local I've got in the field.

    American Style Speedway

Well I really enjoyed the meeting - great value 17 heats for £5.00. I began to think Eddie Castro was jumping the starts on purpose as he seemed to go better the further back he started
  15. Premier Fours final to be held at Beaumont Park over 20 heats on Sunday 23 October starting at 5.00 pm - admission price is £15 with £5 discount with rain off ticket - all 4 teams free to pick their riders.
