There was a lot of rain yesterday & overnight but it is windy which should help to dry the track & supposed to be light rain this afternoon then dry and sunny from 4pm - I'm ever the optimist so will still plan my day to go - but don't have far to travel

Workington Comets V Leicester Lions 22/09/12 19:00hrs (pl) .
HarryMango replied to topaz325's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Magnus was taken out & pushed into the fence bend 1-2 & was down for quite a while - the report was leg problem - rode in the rerun & his next two races but didnt look right & was replaced for his last ride. Jari landed heavily on his shoulder - got the bike off the track but seemed in a lot of pain - was given a ride back to the pits on Edinburgh bike but apparently spent the rest of the meeting in the back of the ambulance; ironically this was Jaris best meeting for a while. -

New Year Classic 2012
HarryMango replied to Devilforever's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
I think I will make the trek - will be supporting David Howe as he's the nearest thing to a local I've got in the field. -
Well I really enjoyed the meeting - great value 17 heats for £5.00. I began to think Eddie Castro was jumping the starts on purpose as he seemed to go better the further back he started
