    Ipswich v Sheffield April 25th

We will go to Ipswich to get a win. But Richie Hawkins has already alluded that they will set the track up to be grippy which probably won't suit us, which is up to the home team. For me as long as we get the bonus point from Ipswich then I will be happy, so hopefully we can keep as tight as possible.

Belle Vue v Ipswich 22nd April

Common sense regarding Jason Doyle. Jason suffered a loss of earnings. Ipswich had to field a weakened team for an away fixture. Club and rider suffered enough without further punishment.

Belle Vue v Ipswich 22nd April

I agree, about Tungate/ Doyle. Like you say Doyle turned up on time for his flight, and the the reason for him missing the meeting was beyond his control. In the case of Tungate his flight left without him as he was late for flight, that is down to him that he did not make it back into the UK in time for his meeting. For me the two totally different reasons for missing a meeting.
  4. Slick/ Grippy We will be coming down for the win, not matter what the track is like. If we cannot win then we settle for the bonus point.

    Aces v Sheffield 01/04/24

If you would tie me down to who I think will win the Play Off Final, I would say that Ipswich are the team I would pick. And if the trend of what has happened in recent seasons then Ipswich will do it. 2021 Peterborough Champions Belle Vue Beaten Finalist 2022 Belle Vue Champions Sheffield Beaten Finalist 2023 Sheffield Champions Ipswich Beaten Finalist

    Aces v Sheffield 01/04/24

Not rare, but how many teams come to Sheffield and win? The team is built to win at home, and I believe at the moment we will be very difficult to beat on our own track. Usually if you win all of your home meeting and accumulate a number of bonus points then you will more often than not make the Play Offs. Once your in the Play Offs its anybody's game as proved last season when 3rd placed Sheffield and 4th placed Ipswich contested the Final. If for any reason it is not working for Sheffield, then expect changes, one thing the Sheffield never afraid to do is make changes and sometimes this can appear to be brutal ask Lewis Kerr.

    2024 Premiership Predictions

I do think it matters who finishes top. For me the main thing is that you finish in the top 4 to reach the Play Offs. So the top 4 to finish in the Play Offs for me will be in no particular order. Bell Vue Ipswich Leicester Sheffield The winner of the Play Off will be the team that books Bomber Harris as a Guest for the Play Offs.
  15. Never thought I would see the day. But I agree with you.

    Oxford Spires 2024

I think that you will find that Kerr has only been dropped once due to poor form, and that was the 2022 season at Kings Lynn. Sheffield last season was down to the injuries to other riders and nothing to do with his form. I would say that Palm Toft is a gamble he never seems to finish a season without injury.
