    Is there an echo.

To be fair you are usually spot on with your information.

Quality signing in Lewis Kerr and should do well next season starting at reserve. There was a rumour that he was signing for another club, which I did not understand as both rider and club were very complementary of each other and seem a perfect fit. On the subject of the Rising Star I am hoping that we get Dan Gilkes or failing that I would like Connor Bailey instead. Not particularly keen to see Drew Kemp comeback. We had him at the club before for 2019 season, and he started like a stream train and looked a great prospect. But he quickly went of the boil, and he looked a shadow of the rider that we had seen at the start of the season. He would gate with the other riders but appeared to gate with other riders into the first bend, but appeared to back off and dare I say lack a bit of bravery. And to be honest since in the meetings I have seen at him return to Sheffield I have not seen any further improvement.

You will be lucky if they have just put £1 on the Admission prices. At Sheffield they have put the Adult price up from £19 to £22.

I thought Nikolai Busk Jacobsen had retired.

I would have expect Adam Ellis to be signed up for Sheffield, alongside Lewis Kerr and Kyle Howarth as the last three of the top six riders. But the news that Lewis Kerr will not be returning has got me thinking that they may go for a different 3rd heatleader. Chris Holder is a perfect fit if they fancy changing things around at Sheffield and maybe fancies riding with his younger brother at Sheffield. But Chris Holder or Adam Ellis I would be happy with the team building is going at Sheffield.

We could fit Chris Holder in at Sheffield. I don't think that we will because I imagine that they will go with Adam Ellis, But at Sheffield it is a track he appears to like. His brother is at the club. He would not be the number 1 in fact he would be the third heatleader so would have easier races. Sheffield Could line up. Jack Holder 8.61 Kyle Howarth 5:28 (With 2.5% British Reduction) Chris Holder 7.16 David Bellego 5.60 Tobiasz Musielak 7.91 Ben Cook 4.00 (Assess Average) Total 38.56 Rising Star Dan Gilkes (If the rumour is true)

So looking at the riders already signed, I reckon the next two riders available will be Kyle Howarth and Adam Ellis. That should leave us around 4:88 for the 6th rider. Sounding like Lewis Kerr won't be available, so possible targets who would fit the bill. Paul Starke Jake Allen Stefan Nielsen Ben Cook Zach Cook Kye Thomsen Connor Mountain Dimitri Berge Ben Barker Personally my choice would be Ben Cook or Dimitri Berge. The Rising Star riders realistic possible targets Connor Bailey (If Tom Brennan is given a Rising Star Place) Jack Thomas Drew Kemp Jason Edwards Dan Gilkes Joe Thompson Jordan Jenkins For me either Dan Gilkes or Connor Bailey would be my choice.

If the Bellego signing is correct. I would go for this team. (1) Jack Holder (2) Kyle Howarth (3) David Bellego (4) Adam Ellis (5) Tobiasz Musielak (6) Dimitri Berge (7) Jake Allen

I would be surprised not see Lewis Kerr at Sheffield next. Both rider and club have been complimentary of each other. If there is no Kerr then Dimitri Berge in his place instead. For the young Brit I would go with Dan Gilkes .

    Birmingham Brummies 2023

I would imagine the first signing will be Justin Sedgmen. The club Promoters seem to like him and he likes them. As for Pickering the ship sailed when Edinburgh announced that they would be running next season. If it was me I would be looking riders who are Leicester this season and try for those riders. Kyle Howarth and Connor Mountain are two riders that I would be looking at.

    Ipswich 2023

I think that you will find that those of us that flagged Musielak as a rider to watch, did so with the fact of how much that he could potentially put on from his starting average of 6:21. If my memory serves me well myself and other predicted that he could potentially put on a point to point and half on his average. He surpassed those expectations with a figure of 7:91, increasing his average by 1:70. If Ipswich want to be successful next season and want to have Jason Doyle in their team they need to find a rider that is going to replicate Musielak's improvement this season.

You got it really bad. Good Luck in Pairs, yours to win.
  14. I thought the same, and I having been expecting that been the date set for the 2nd leg. If that is not the case and the 2nd leg is not ridden then I think that the Kings Lynn should be awarded the trophy.
  15. Stadium not available either Wednesday 26th and Thursday 27th, there is outdoor cinema, taking place on both dates.

A lot will depend upon what the points limit will be. I would look to bringing back Lewis Kerr, could be a matchwinner if we can fit him at reserve. As for the rest I think Jack Holder will admit he has not had a great season not just at Sheffield but Torun as well, but he has a pretty low average and I would keep him. Tobiasz Musielak I would have him back in a heartbeat, but I think that a lot will depend what happens to him in Poland. Adam Ellis a bit like Jack Holder not had his best season, but I think that still has something to offer the club. Kyle Howarth for me the jury is out, and maybe a season away from the club might benefit the club and Kyle. Justin Sedgmen finished the season strong but overall I would let him go. Connor Mountain a lot will depend on what happens regarding the Rising Star Programme, rumour has it that there will be no Rising Star next season, and unsure where he stands regarding the programme but would have him back.
  17. Sometimes a change of scenery for rider can do the trick. At Sheffield he has Steady as his Team Manager, who has worked hard with Lewis on his riding, and the one thing Promotion at Sheffield have been please with Lewis is the fact he has took the advice given and acted on it. Not something that the Estate Agent could do at Kings Lynn.
  18. Happy, but not surprised by the result. We not a bad side away from home this season. So far this season in the League, League Cup and Play Offs, away from this season we have this record. Belle Vue; won 1 lost 3 Ipswich: won 1 lost 1 Kings Lynn won 3 lost 0 Peterborough; won 1 drawn 1 (lost on golden Heat) Wolves; won 2 lost 2 Only Wolves have won at Sheffield this season, so we looks like barring any disasters looks like the silverware is coming to us. Also looks like the 3 best teams in the league will be picking up the silverware this season. Belle Vue; League Champions Sheffield; League Cup winners Ipswich; Pairs
  19. Should be an interesting meeting, I would agree that the Stars need a 10 plus lead back to Sheffield. But since returning back to the top league we have good record at Kings Lynn. Won 3, Drawn 1 Lost 0 We also have a couple of Ex Stars riders who want to put one over the Stars. For me this is our best chance this season to get some silverware, and to be honest if we fail this time I will be very disappointed.

No Jordan Palin in the side then.
  21. Congratulations to Belle Vue in winning the Play Off Final. The atmosphere on the night was electric, and credit has to be given to the Aces supporters who turned out in numbers. Its a pity the camera's did not capture the atmosphere, as I can tell you the atmosphere was there. The Aces supporters celebrated Polish style with smoke bombs and flares, which I did not mind apart from the smell, which smelt like dog rubbish. The referee decisions were in my opinion mostly correct after looking at the replays on the phone. I think Belle Vue came into the meeting to simply defend the 12 point lead and frustrate the Tigers, and we were chasing the in the meeting all night. But cannot fault our riders who put in 100% effort, but the Aces were just to good for us over the two legged final, and the signing of Robert Lambert as I suspected swung the advantage to Belle Vue. We now move onto the League Cup Final as consolation winning silverware against Kings Lynn so we are still in with a chance of winning something. Finally for me the Play Off's should stay, the tension and excitement that they create means they should stay.
  22. I picked Kyle out due to his scores for Sheffield and his British Final scores at Belle Vue Belle Vue 5 points from 5 rides 3 points from 4 rides 5 points from 4 rides British Final 10 points from 5 rides
  23. Kyle Howarth is the key man for me. Need him to be more hit than miss.
