    Coventry 2015

Looks very solid to me.... Much more solid than we did last year in fact.

    Coventry 2015

Bobby Miskowiak on a 5.12. If he is interested in the UK this year that's where I would be looking at him. Decent around Brandon.

    Coventry 2015

What would that leave us points wise?

    Coventry 2015

Sarj confirmed, cant complain can we

    Coventry 2015

Is that anything to do with his tweets about being owed money?
  6. No, because the market is bigger. However the crowd definetly changes, Mourinho was moaning about the lack of atmosphere at Stamford Bridge, why? because the ground is full of tourist fans. Old Trafford is the same. I have long said that allow teams to uild and keep riders will go a long way to keeping fans interested. Young kids start going one season, the next season they are watching a different set of riders, they lose interest the majority of the time.

    Coventry 2015

So why has stock car track preparation taken precedence over a speedway meeting?

    Coventry 2015

That's got nothing to do with the Bee's.

    Coventry 2015

Dcent article / inteview with Bomber on thr sgp site, talking about getting Chris Andersen back as his mechanic and Brian "Axeman" Andersen back to do his engines, I know they started talking last year, could they have contributed to his form at the tail end of last year?

    Questions That Need An Answer

Agreed, however on last nights programme they showed "highlights" of when Swindon were demolished by Wolves...
  11. One thing I note from the Swedish play offs is that Kenny bear does not seem to like the play offs whatever the country! As for last night, an excellent performance, we clearly wanted it more, and that showed in our riding. very disappointed with the attitude of Rosco, he was well liked at Brandon and most were not happy after Horton got rid of him and of course we all remember when Coventry gave him his 1st league title win.... however he has shown scant regard to Coventry over this season and it was with a sense of satisfaction that we were able to destroy the "form team" going into the play offs.

    Questions That Need An Answer

I would also like to know why only our league win in 2010 gets mentioned fleetingly and and 07 (Treble winners) and 05 came back from the bottom of the league does not get mentioned at all.
  13. There is an issue with Coventry's track and that is it does not seem to dry, they said on Sky last night that it was last watered at 3:30PM, the air was warm but still, normally you would have expected it to dry out. I am not sure what they can do different because had it not been watered it would have been a dust bowl. On to the meeting, still all in the balance, an 8 point lead is better than I thought, especially when you consider Hans didnt score too well we were pretty solid elsewhere though and with a little bit of luck we could got another 5-1 in fifteen but Hansens run on the first corner was blocked off by everyone going for the same bit of track. We will need to be at our best though next Monday.

After all these years, Cradley are still not causing trouble....

    The "fans Trophy"

Not as exciting though, take this year. Kings Lynn potentially had to beat Belle Vue, they failed Poole "won" the league, Sky were not there to cover the meeting which meant Poole potentially clinched the title.
  16. I am not sure you can look at the Bees bad form and use it a predictor at the mo, The defeat at Swindon had no real bearing on things as we were pretty much confirmed in the play offs and Swindon needed the result to confirm themselves. The Poole meeting, again they were racing for the top spot and we lost Howarth in a nasty spill early on (even Ford admitted it may have been a decent result) Prior to the Poole loss we had not at home since May (to Swindon). Having said that, I still think Swindon are favourites due to the home track advantage they carry. Its of course indicative that Poole avoided both of these teams.

    The "fans Trophy"

Scrap the idea SCB, Poole finished top. On a serious note though, the PLAY OFFS determine the League Champions, speedway / Sky has decided this is the best way to go, to have them renamed as play off winners would instantly devalue them. Whats better than the top 4 team scrapping it out to win the League?

    Fim World League

I am pretty sure I read that Poole have "signed" Sayfutdinov for these meetings...
  19. More wonderful Bees memories created at Kirky Lane tonight.
  20. They regularly got crowds of over 10k while at the Ricoh, the majority of that was while paying full price / season tickets. Personally I think its the right move for the Speedway to make, Many football and speedway fans who attend both will choose the football on this occassion as the Football club is returning home from its exile in Northampton. You only need to look at the attendance of travelling City fans to fixtures close to home such as MK Dons away to realise the Speedway might well be affected.
  21. Dont think anybody does imo it will be around 20,000

    Coventry Bees 2014

Boom! Sounds like Andersen and Hansen had a bit to deal with him coming over.
