    Leicester V Poole 8/4/17 Ela

I agree. I would love to have speedway at Brandon this year 😥

    Rye House Vs Swindon 08.04.17

Sounds like a great night for BWD There's no point Rye House having a slick track and then signing riders like Nicholls & esp Harris who need to be able to race. Bomber hates it slick. When I didn't rate this team as a play off team, some questioned why but tonight partly showed. Yes they are known riders with lots of EL experienced but they all fit in the same team due to a decline in their averages due to a drop in form over the last couple of years. They are known for being very inconsistent

Leicester have really missed Bates tonight

    Rye House Vs Swindon 08.04.17

A good win for Swindon. RR actually works in their favour as Ellis wouldn't have scored anywhere near 10 with his poor start to the season. Rye House are made up of very inconsistent riders. Apart from watt who usually struggles to score

    Rye House Vs Swindon 08.04.17

Watt has been beaten twice already by BWD! 0,0 so far at home

    Leicester V Poole 8/4/17 Ela

He always makes claims that Poole are weakened whilst the team they are against are made stronger by missing key riders. No Bates for Leicester is a big blow, esp when you think how many rides he could have taken

    Somerset V Leicester

Unlucky for Somerset to lose Bjerre. I think Leicester are capable of winning the return leg and progressing in the cup
  9. Lasse Bjerre was injured tonight so could be a doubt
  10. Thought Belle Vue would win but never saw a 24pt win on the night. Well done to Belle Vue on progressing and knocking Poole out of the cup. Good Maximum for Cook Huge worry for Poole. Klindt had covered for the rest of the teams weakness in previous meetings but even he struggled tonight.
  11. Wow Belle Vue already have a 16pt lead on the night and it's only 7 heats down. Belle Vue are out classing them so far. Andersen has been beaten by Smith. Poole team has depended a lot on Klindt being able to cover the weaknesses of the top 5 so far
  12. Really. Those on twitter seem to be at a different meeting as they say there's racing esp heat 5. Hans has always been more of a gater
  13. WOLVERHAMPTON have announced reduced admission prices for Monday nights Keep Bees On Track challenge match against Coventry. However, a turnstile will be available at the normal price for those wishing to donate to the Coventry fighting fund. Wolves local rivals lost the use of Brandon Stadium during a turbulent winter and a campaign group was set up to assist riders who lost team places as a result, and to work on the bid to restore racing to Coventry as soon as possible. Mondays meeting features six of the seven riders who were due to line up for the Bees in 2017, whilst ex-Coventry man Rory Schlein steps in for Kenneth Bjerre. The reduced admission is £15 adults, £10 concessions, £5 juniors and £1 children. Normal admission is £18, £13, £7 and £1 the difference will be the donation. Promoter Chris Van Straaten said: When I saved Wolverhampton back in 1986 the first meeting back was at Brandon on an emotional night. To lose the Bees is a massive blow to the sport, just like it was with Cradley all those years ago. We are all hoping this is only a one season gap and we are more than happy to give the Bees fans another chance to support their team. Im also looking forward to coming up against our old foe Colin Pratt who returns to the Coventry team manager role for the night.

    Coventry 2017

Our season should have been starting now 😞 Lovely sunny Friday today as well.

    Rye House 2017

On paper this should be a easy home win

    Swindon 2017

The point limit drops to 42pts for making team changes so a lot of points would need to be dropped
  17. mdmc82

    Swindon V Belle Vue. 06/04/17.

In all fairness though, I wouldn't expect Your reserves or BWD to score much between them. They scored close to their average. Ellis I would expect a bit more. That is down to how weak the team has been built. Fricke is much better than 4pts so would have expected him to score more as has the potential to.
  18. mdmc82

    Swindon V Belle Vue. 06/04/17.

Good away win for The aces Shows how good this team could be this season when Fricke scores 4 and they still win away
  19. mdmc82

    Swindon V Belle Vue. 06/04/17.

Is Ellis as bad as his 0,0,0 or is he in the meeting? Always seemed a big ask for him in the top 5 but he shouldn't be getting beaten by Bewley at home.

    Swindon V Belle Vue. 06/04/17.

May when the new 42pt limit comes in
  21. Josh is out injured for Sheffield tonight
  22. That's what's strange. He had some tracks he struggled a bit at like Swindon & Wolves but was very good one most of the other tracks. He only dropped 1 point on our last visit to Poole.

  24. Brilliant result for the Aces to only lose by 2pts, although it was very unlucky for them that Bjerre broke down while winning heat 15. Should make a good 2nd leg
  25. Good for Bewley to beat J Holder. I have yet to see what all the fuss about Holder is about
