British Final (belle Vue) 19th June 2017

They both had a chance to qualify, the same as the riders in tonight's line up. Those riding qualified fair and square. I can't say I am personally going to miss either tonight. Lots more riders to support 🇬🇧 -

I would like to see a Coventry asset or favourite such as King, Garrity, Nicholls or Harris win it. However I would be pleased for Cook if he won as lost out a few times now due to the final being rerun. -

Predict either a win for Craig Cook or Aussie Rory -
Wow surprised Newman has been dropped. He's been at a stand still for a while now though esp in the PL and was always going to struggle once he left reserve although injures haven't helped. I think maybe time away from Poole might help him like it did Doyle. Starke is a good replacement.

If the stadium was in use then it wouldn't be a problem. It doesn't need houses built on it! They would just use the garden centre a cross the road otherwise with their caravans. Houses don't stop them

Jeff: We are aware travelers are on Brandon Stadium & apparently causing damage. The police are in attendance and we have informed the owners

Klindt posted: thanks for all the messages! proper banged my head, knocked out cold. having a scan on my right knee hopefully tomorrow morning. What is the concussion rule on the period of time before somebody must now be signed off for if they have been unconscious for a period of time?

Leicester V Poole Sat 3/6/17
mdmc82 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Surprised result looking at that weakened Leicester side. Well done Lions 👍🏻 -
Riders like Bjerre, Garrity & King would have been much better on a racing track like Brandon. King had a great year with Coventry last year and is flying with Ipswich this year. Some riders settle better at some clubs than others. K Bjerre is having one of his best seasons yet, Kerr is back on form and Bates would have been good at reserve. Think Bees would have done well
-
Confusing isn't it. If he's fit to race then Poole can only add him again after the 28 days if his average still fits
-
Isn't he only a 28day injury replacement?
-
Strange signing for number 1. I enjoy watching him but he's very hit and miss away and that's not as a number 1. Thought they might have used guests instead

I actually feel a bit for Ellis as yes he was signed on a 7+ average but he never gained that as a heat leader as Poole, it was more as a reserve and occasionally a 2nd string. It was always a huge ask to expect him to score the same average as a heatleader which is why Poole had to let him go. That said he should still be scoring more than 3. Tungate is now available, could he be returning to the Robins?
-
Great result for King's Lynn. Can't say I'm overly surprised though. The team change was puzzling as didn't look to really strengthen them. Ellis seems to be getting a lot of blame for scoring 2 but BWD only scored 2 and the reserves 3 each so lots of week links
-
Don't think it really makes them any stronger. Still looks like a championship team and could be in danger of finishing bottom
-
Leicester has benefited from their being no Coventry this year. They now have Bjerre, King, Garrity, Bates & Lynch. They have more Bees riders than their own 🐝
-
So that's Garrity, King, Bates, Bjerre & Lynch. More Coventry that Leicester. Thing they need to be renamed Leicester Bees
-
Completely agree 👍🏻 Tai isn't the manager and also can't be bothered with British events usually
-
The only rider available is Kerr. The rest will be guests for Coventry. We have Howarth as a heatleader in place of Garrity. Harris is guesting for K Bjerre Not surprised.

Should be a big Home win
