Forget all the over the top hype around Lambert, Tonight's stand out rider for GB has been Worrall.
To beat Lindgren with how he's riding and to be on the pace with Dudek, Emil & Lindback is very impressive 👏
0 from Lambert and 1from Cook really let us down. King wouldn't have done any worse

Who thought we would see Worrall replacing Lambert. Both him and cook have really struggled tonight
Harris has put up a big fight and been impressive. Worrall has rode much better than I expected and been competitive. Should be proud of himself. Such a shame he broke the tapes

Have never understood all the talk of Lambert being ready for the SGP. He looks very average against top riders & off the pace
-
Craig Cook is leading well as captain and there seems good team spirit. Must be nice not to have a squad member who thinks they are the team.
Let's keep it going team GB
Surprised how average Milik is so far

Looking at the line ups, USA look dreadful on paper. Even with this questionable team GB team we should be able to avoid last place.
Australia weakened a bit by having no Doyle who is one of the best riders at the moment. Plus now no reserve.
I'm hoping I'm proving wrong about my doubts about Worrall & Ellis in the team. Even Rosco didn't look too convinced when interviewed.
At least we are in the easier of the 2 qualifying events.
Come on Team GB 🇬🇧

I have updated the team line up part on the first page. Since the start of the season:
Most riders have seen there averages drop due to them being inflated at the start of the season.
The 3 riders with a huge drop in their average by 4 or more points are
Holder (dropped from a 11 to a 7 avg)
Doyle. (Dropped from a 13 to a 9)
Ellis. (Dropped from a 7 to a 3 avg)
Lindgren has kept his 10 average and Kurtz, Batchelor and Morris have all actually improved on their inflated averages.
Huckenbech & Bates have moved from reserve into the main team. While Robson, Rose, Starke & Newman have seen themselves return to reserve positions.
Surprisingly even in this year's weaker reserve position, Branford's average has actually dropped by a point and Allen's has lowered too.
Leicester only have 2 riders still remaining from their starting line up!
Wolves are averaging the most with 48.48 while Swindon are averaging the lowest with 40.98
-
I'm not sure that strengthens them a lot. Barker is riding well at the moment and Robbo should do well at reserve but team still full of inconsistent riders and no real number 1.
Can understand the Kennett change as a lot of us told Rye House fans that how he rides against stronger teams in the top league is different to the championship.
Feel for Perks though

That's good to hear. It looked nastyWell according to the Echo Nic hasn't broken anything, just a bit second hand!
What is the point limit now for building the team?
-
I really miss it. I hope something can be done to get us back racing 🙏🏼🐝

Good away win for Belle Vue 👍🏻
-
Why has Middlo kept Klindt in for 4 races rather than use Starke in one?
Rider of the night for me would be Bewley. Has rode really well on a dreadful track.

-
And you think Doyle wouldn't have progressed if he had stayed at Poole!!
No I don't think he would have as quickly. He needed a change. Works well with Rosco
-
Middle says they are waiting for the sun to go down to make it safe. They would have to dig up the track & start again to make it safe 😂

On the track walk Nick could barely walk.
Should never of declared himself fit.
I get your point though.
Yes he's carrying a injury but to be fair he was always going to struggle in the top 5 anyway.
-
Stefan Andersson has tweeted what an awful track this is.
He has a good point. Tatum keeps saying it's "tricky" every time they go over a big bump lol. Gets worse.
They are going on about Zengota being missing as if it weakens Poole a lot, have they not been following how poor he's been 😂
-
I see the track has no improved any 😉
Great heat 2 race win from Bewley
-
Bates rides Kings Lynn well and is averaging more than Ellis so is the Swindon connection the reason he got it?
Think King or Nicholls are miles better than Ellis.
Think Poland should walk it looking at the line ups.
-
Not sure what Rosco is thinking. Why put Lambert in the top 4 when he could have been at reserve. Ellis has been struggling in our league so would be eaten alive if had to ride in the SWC.
Shame King isn't in the team

A fully fit and confident Kyle Newman scoring a max tonight beating the British champ twice. Starke only got 5 tonight. As I said a like for like change. Pooles loss is Leicesters gain
Newman's development has stalled the last couple of years. I think a change of club is what he needs. Howarth and esp Doyle progressed a lot more after leaving Poole.

Poole only just beat a poor Leicester side. I expect Belle Vue to get close.
Rumoured guest for Klindt is Bates

Looks like Newman may be joining Leicester
-
They both had a chance to qualify, the same as the riders in tonight's line up. Those riding qualified fair and square.this field with Woffy & Lambert would have been one of then best in a while. Oh well..
I can't say I am personally going to miss either tonight. Lots more riders to support 🇬🇧

I would like to see a Coventry asset or favourite such as King, Garrity, Nicholls or Harris win it.
However I would be pleased for Cook if he won as lost out a few times now due to the final being rerun.
