  1. The announcement about re-admission was basically this: - Write to BSPA and you can get a refund - Tickets will get you in to any BSPA shared event this year or next. Can be used for re-staging or ELRC at Swindon (That's the event at Swindon someone mentioned, re-staging isn't at Swindon!) Only problem I had was that we were left waiting an hour for it to be officially called off when it was clear looking at the sky the rain wasn't going to stop and even if it did the track was a complete mess. On a positive, first time at Sheffield and very impressed with the facilities. Can't believe they didn't have air fences though!

    Joe Haines Signs For Dudley

He may be "stepping down" but the attitude to doubling up riders be it EL/PL or PL/NL on here is one I don't agree with. Surely if Joe isn't getting EL rides, then riding more and more is only going to help him progress? Back to Dudley, good signing IMO. Having a good season and knows Monmore very well

    Swedish Play Offs 2012

Race in Sweden and miss Coventry I would suspect. Thats what everyone else seems to have done (Iversen, Mads, Sundstrom etc) To be fair if I was Larsen I would ride in Sweden. A play-off meeting with a lot riding on it rather than a meeting in EL to decide whether Coventry might finish 8th or 9th.
  5. Why aren't those 3 there? EDIT: According to Sportowefakty: -Crump still struggling with Collarbone/shoulder after Cardiff (Understandable) - Zagar still feeling effects of crash at Gorzow (also understandalbe) -BUT Ulamek apparantly pulled out without giving a reason. Considering he rode on Thursday and didn't crash or anything either I find that disgraceful given what the meeting is. Don't know the whole story but on the face of it sounds terrible from him. Hope there is a more reasonable explanation for his absence.
  6. On the Wolves fixtures we are listed as racing in a 4 Team Tournament at Leicester next Saturday and tonight I noticed it is on the Coventry fixtures as well. Anyone know anything about this? What clubs riding? What is it for? Which riders eligible? Anyone know anything? Not been advertised at all.
  7. Yep I agree that some do get testimonials too easily
  8. Disagree with you there. I agree KK getting one would be a farce, but some riders are certainly deserving. eg. Freddie Lindgren has given tremendous service to Wolves over the last 9 years and I would certainly attend if he was granted a testimonial next year. He has constantly given his all for Wolves and stayed loyal even when he could and perhaps should have given up riding in Britain to concentrate on the GP's. Peter Karlsson was equally deserving as well. The reason Brits rarely get testimonials abroad is, IMO, because they rarely stay with the same side. Foreign riders only usually get testimonials when they have stayed loyal to a team for a long period.
  9. Should he be in the GP's. In a word, no. None of the Brits do at this moment. HOWEVER, He is easily the best Brit for the job IMO. Highest averaging rider in EL and other leagues, + he has age on his side. Watching him week in week out I can easily say he is much better than people on here seem to be suggesting. In the Elite League he is bettered by only a handful of riders. Abroad, his performances this season certainly suggest that he can beat the best regularly. His Polish Ekstraliga average of 7.06 is fairly good, and his form since he returned from injury would certainly suggest he can do much better than that. In Sweden, he is 4th in the Averages (although after only 3 meetings) and has proved in that division what he is capable of. So in short, does he deserve to be in the GP's? NO Would it be a shocking decision and a calamity if he was chosen? NO Would he be completely outclassed in the GP's? NO

    Wolverhampton 2013

Sorry to sound negative but I really would not want Eddie Kennett at Wolves. He is good at Monmore and he is a decent rider. However, I may seem harsh but I just can't forgive his silencer 'incident'. I know he has served his punishment, but I just can't help but feel that currently I wouldn't want someone who was caught cheating at my club. Maybe a bit harsh but that is just how I feel right now.

    Dudley V Mildenhall

Where have you seen Kerr for Heeps? Gary Irving in as Mildenhall number one according to Heathens site.

    Mildenhall V Dudley Sun 19th Aug 16:30

Perry had hurt his shoulder a bit at the U21's but nothing serious, will be ready for Tuesday I am pretty sure.

    Mildenhall V Dudley Sun 19th Aug 16:30

I don't see how anybody can say that I don't know! Roynon is superior to Cam, yet he was replaced by Irving who did well but is certainly not as good as Garrity for you. Morris wasn't replaced at all and a 10+ rider in Perry was replaced by a 3.00 rider with no experience at this level. Hardly even teams in my book EDIT: The rest of you post about how to support your side and not understanding cheering riders falling was spot on though.
  14. What is normally there? Only 2nd year there and didn't go early last year, just curious as to what happens at the fanzone? Are the stalls selling stuff? I know there is a monster place there but what else can I expect? Cheers
