Well ridden, Colts! -
In my opinion, Bryn, if a rider states that he's not under the affluence of incohol that should be taken at face value!

Wolves Vs Belle Vue Tues 7th April
RonButler replied to lino wolf's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Hopefully a convincing Belle Vue win. Maybe this will be a season when the Aces don't flatter to decieve. I do have doubts about Simon Stead. I can't understand why he has been signed! -
Crazy Sue And Her Gang Of Updaters And Texters

Where woiuld we be without them? Up the creek without the proverbial channel! -
Thank you for that. I was getting worried; thought my two remaing little grey cells were exiting stage left!

I agree. I have never been a supporter of the play-off system and never will be. Sadly, GRW, we are but voices crying in the speedway wilderness. I fear that will ever be the case. Incidentally, I am not a Poole fan. I speak as a supporter of speedway rather than a specific club.

I'm missing the Shovlar. He was good for a laugh - if nothing else. Come back, Steve, there's too much sanity on the forum and it's driving me mad!

From what I've read elsewhere I get the impression the when the new Belle Vue stadium opens it will be the immediate end of all the Aces problems. I can't agree with this. The club needs to set up a basic training system; a school where raw novices can be taught how to ride a speedway machine and all that it entails. Training should be under the direction of a latter day Dent Oliver. When any youngster starts to show genuine promise he should be signed on a limited term contract to prevent other clubs poaching him. The training of young riders should be on a long term basis. Very few would become first team men overnight.
-
So, there we go again. So much promised - so little achieved. Nothing in the trophy cabinet sine 2005 when Belle Vue beat Eastbourne over two legs to win the Knockout Cup. What's the answer? Will the long promised new stadium bring a return of the once mighty ace of clubs? Should Belle Vue follow Eastbourne into the lower echelon of the sport. I sincerely hope not!

Only when they were learning to snog.

I sincerely hope that Toft can make a real contribution to Belle Vue over the season. I wonder though if to much is being expected of this lad. He has no real experience of Elite League racing and I fear he may expecting to much of himself. Having said that I would be delighted to be proved wrong.

Who Was The Best Rider In The World In 2013?
RonButler replied to Gavan's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I don't understand why this thread has been restarted by the same poster on the same day and at the same time of day! 'the beast rider' Don't think many of us would regard young Mr Woffinden as such, Jenga. Personally, I regard him as being the best rider in the the world last season. -
OK for me on Firefox. Why not post a list of the 'adult sites' on here!
