I have no idea. As I said, I count the people I see and it comes to about 800-ish. If 200 of them are freeloaders, then that's even worse!

I think we survive off the generosity of Terry and the other guys. No wonder Terry has been trying to sell his stake for as long as I can remember.

If you count the blocks of 100 people, plus all those in the bars the total at most meetings would be between 1300 and 1500.

Poland could run Friday and Sunday meaning their regular season will only take seven weeks. The riders will love Poland on a Friday, GP on a Saturday and Poland on a Sunday.

It is therefore British speedway's problem to work around this.

Poland will do whatever they want to do as has been continually shown in the past.

Again, proof that speedway doesn't understand its target market. Why promote speedway to kids? It makes no sense.

Especially when clubs run on a school night and many do not have public transport that runs past the track, so unless their parents take them they cannot get to and from a meeting.

For people like Niels and Ulrich for eg wouldn’t it be classed as absolutely necessary as it’s for work?

Possibly, but then the Danish govt might want them to go into isolation on each return from any country with a level of the virus above a certain level.

What this fan really wants to see is that in a majority of races the positions will stand a very good chance of changing after 1/2 lap. And that riders believe that that is possible and make a real effort to do so, rather than accept after that first 1/2 lap that the result is set in stone. And settle for a high speed verion of line dancing. Bring back racing and the belief that having a serious go is worth it. Not least to entertain the remaining supporters!

Not the case at Swindon, there is plenty of overtaking throughout the whole race in the PL meetings.

Good point and one possibly not thought through when the window idea was muted

The window needs to be open/closed at the same time for ALL teams and not flexible to individual circumstances for the very reason you state

But you have to remember that it is the bspa that come up with these ideas and how they are applied.

So another much vaunted project in the hands of Swindon Borough Council is not going to happen. The much anticipated indoor ski slope.

Along with the new football stadium,  which has been talked about for the last 30 years and  the renovation of the few historic buildings which Swindon has, it ain’t happening.

What price the Speedway Stadium? You can release as many computer generated pictures you like.

The ski slope was a project that idiot Heenan is responsible for, just like the state of the town centre redevelopment, yet nothing happens.

Squad system would be worth trying.

Shame this Transfer Window only applies at minute to Premier, you'd turn up at Birmingham last season not having a clue who may or may not be there!

    Continuity generally breeds success.

It is a good job Poole moved to the lower league as they would be in trouble with all the changes they make.

Not necessarily. For years now the GPs have been uploaded onto YouTube, which you can watch on a smart TV.,  and usually on there by late evening. Therefore, don't look at the result then watch it as a 'live' performance the following day. No ads either.

You can also ff the boring bits.

Only seen your new track on TV, but have read the reviews from fans on here. It would be nice if Buster could chip a bit of the concrete away and do the same :t:

Swindon also widened the straights by about a mtr and shortened the straights which reduced the overall length from 360 to 315 mtrs.  What is good is that the racing speeds are higher and the new width of the straights and bends gives more racing lines.
