orion replied to Vincent Vega's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
The oz team are out of it ,the other 3 teams have all got 5 good riders where the oz team has two weak links that will run two many last places . The more i look at it i think it's between the swedes and team gb -

So Havvy gets the nod
orion replied to Lanzilla's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Oh no... here we go again. Havelock let his country down in the 2001 race-off, again in the 2002 race-off, then again in the 2003 final. For someone who is supposed to be proud to wear the racejacket, some of his performances have been woeful, especially from a former World Champion. In contrast, Screeny rode with a passion on Monday night. He should be in the team on Saturday, not Havelock. All the best Rob Gary is much better than joe round poole and is a good choice ,also i hear rosco is giveing neil a hand at the final which will help the gb team a lot -

Still don t get why people give jason such a hard maybe if he was more like tricky or sulilvan and did not try when the going got tough people would like him more as for nick same as crump gives 100 % for club and his country both would made a great world champion best of of luck to the two of them

With the possible exception of Ryan Sullivan who virtually gave up at Coventry after 3 races with a cut on his hand, but of course that wasn't a GP. If it was he would no doubt have covered it with a plaster and carried on. Wuss! .. I would like to remind you again that the stone that hit ryan was the size of a boulder and how he carry on to ride is beyond the call of duty how would you like it if a stone hit you on the hand -

. Best bit other than watching crump croak on the line. Crump was the best rider all night and battled through off the outside and deserved more. He doesnt know how to act in front of the camera, and his disappointment comes over like a spoilt brat. He needs to take a lesson from Trick, who although had a nightmare, still went around and waved to the crowd as a thank you to them for coming. Cheers Steve Shovlar the best bit was when crump croak on the line ?what sort of a sense of humour have you got the final was ruin by this jason has all the bad luck going As for takeing lessons of tricky what are they give up when you are loseing go back to sweden and let your team down the guy just a quitter and a coward when the chips are down he just does not want to no he takes his ball back give me jason crump in a battle 10 out of ten times not yellow belly tony
