. Today a meeting gets called off on a forecast, not actually what the weather is like and they wonder why punters, think the sport is a joke

I would think most  punters would think is was a joke if you never called a meeting off because of a bad forcast ... its just common sense

Dodgy Tel announces he's found a perfect new place for Speedway, so it's OK to knock the Abbey down.

Dopey Swindon council fall for this, and allow the Abbey Stadium to be knocked down and houses built.

Tel Boy hits a snag and the perfect new stadium can't be built after all.

Swindon council say "never mind, you tried your best"

Osbourne hands a brown envelope each to Tel Boy and the Council leader.

Osbourne moves on to rinse and repeat at the next town.

Whos given you this inside infomation ?

Being a "glass is half full" kind of guy, I am at least positive that Terry Russell released this statement as the silence since the statement that they had located somewhere to build a track was deafening.

So, let's play a game. Let's assume this is true that there is a location found that is a similar distance from Swindon centre as Blunsdon. Foxhill Moto Parc, surely? Obvious place to put a speedway track.

Why release this if it isn't true? I'm sure there are many theories regarding that! In the meantime, we can only hope.

Well they release many things that are not true

I suspect that's probably what's happened, he's got some discomfort so ZG have said no UK before their season starts.

I more than Suspect Baggy .This season is not going   to end well for Brum is it ?

  6. Yet again the goalposts are getting moved again...Tomlinson has always hidden  behind no new Staduim no more new houses from the begining only for us to hear this ..Cant wait for his reply this time.

  7. Best news in ages....Even if by a miracle Tr and Clark had got a track outside Swindon who would  go anyhow..First of all its not Swindon and second who would want to give them two a penny..Hopefully now someone else can take up the fight to find a new home inside.Swindon .

And when you get met with almost zero coordinated, organised protests, then "fair play" to Osbourne as he can take it that...

    1. Hardly anyone from the fanbase cares...

And. 2. (And possibly most important of alll) the promoters of Swindon and the wider BSP, seem to let him happily do what he wants....

Can't blame him to be honest...

One thing that bben  lacking  in Swindon is some   coordinated group etc  who will  give us a voice..As you say its just been to easy for him not just by the fans but by the local media.

Wow, 72 pages of mostly people complaining about the goings on if Birmingham speedway.

To those who complain and don't even go to meetings, why are to bothering to complain. To those who do go to meetings give the club a chance,  I'm sure all are trying their hardest to make a successful club. No one signs a rider expecting to fail. Let's Hope for another 72 pages of positive comments when the last 2 riders are signed.  Now cue the anger from those who think I'm a fool.:D

Odd post if the club sorted out what they moaning about (putting crap teams out each season ) then i expect they would go to the meetings . By the way i don t think you are a fool .

Our league is much weaker so he'll be fine imo, Even Chris Holder won more than a fair share of heats when he signed for Sheffield (Excluding Ipswich).

I don't think any club will get enough race winners away from home tbh because every team looks rock solid around their own track, Away wins should be at a premium.

    Ipswich and Sheff will
