well im going by the poole fans on this forum and the vast majority don't want Ward and would rather have magic. I guess the poll that was taken was either voted for by teenage girls or those who feel he is just to talented not to be in the side, irrelevant of the fact he keeps letting everybody down

i have. how constructive do you want me to be? My 9 year old daughter could have wrote it better. highlighted a couple of things. Darcy Ward hasnt worked hard at all. He has a sublime natural talent on a bike he finds it easy. People like Tai and Nicki have worked hard to add to their talent and if Ward had an ounce of their commitment he could be world champion. As for a massive loss not really. Sure he is good to watch but the gp's without him last season were perfectly good so if he wasnt there it wouldnt stop me watching them. At the end of the day we all want to see Ward back on the track but it needs to be a different Ward , one who wont mess up again, and im afraid the people who crawl to him and call themselves fans by setting up a petition arent really doing him any favours

two extremes you quote there. no I wouldn't expect him to call him a c**t that's absurd. what I would expect Middlo to do is not come up with rubbish like 'its what kids do' or ' he was only a little bit over they should take that into account' Middlo should say 'Darcy has been a fool and its happened to frequently, as a club we will be there after whatever punishment he gets' Middlo does himself and Darcy no favours at all.

Said it before that Darcy needs to change the people around him. Enough has been said bout Middlo we all know he just talks rubbish. It's a shame to say it for you decent Poole fans out there but for Darcy the speedway rider perhaps getting away from Poole will do him the world of good. He has things to easy at Poole and while he continually has an atm round his shoulder when he mucks up you have to think he may never learn And all this time Poole wait and wait to see who to sign. They should do the professional thing and sign the rider who should be the fans hero and who won them the league , not Darcy but Magic. If Darcy does get banned I kind if hope Janowski tells Ford he is to late to sign him

I'm at a loss as to why certain Poole fans keep backing Ward? I'm fed up of seeing page after page of excuse after excuse to try and get him off looking for any loophole to do so. I don't want to see him out for a long time but the wrong message is being sent out. I applaud the true Poole fans who feel he has let the club down and feel he should serve his punishment and move on. While people like Middlo are almost applauding what he did and Ford unbelievably stating Darcy won them the league, then I'm afraid he will never learn he will just think he can get away with anything. Just imagine how good Ward could be with the attitude of a Woffinden or Pedersen. Darcy Ward should be allowed to ride again in the next few months but if he is allowed to start the season i will be stunned. Do what you like get in some fancy lawyers and try to get away with it

your point being what? I would hazard a guess the majority are fans of the English, Swedish, Polish clubs he rides for and probably lots of teenage girls as well. Add in a few people who think its fine to have a couple of beers before getting on a bike and that would probably come close to the number you quote. If people want to support him in the hope he gets lucky and gets away with it so be it. The majority of people know Darcy was over the limit that day. Some feel thats ok if there is a technacality

Its blatantly obvious that Darcy clearly has the wrong people around him Middlo is the obvious one. Consistently backs Ward whatever he does and calls him a silly boy. Get a grip! Matt Ford says Poole won the title because of Ward!! LOL While he has people around him that let him do what he wants the sad thing is he may never learn and feel he is untouchable I remember when Ward was interviewed a couple of years back about Tai's regime and dedication , he simply shrugged and laughed it of saying it wasnt for him. Well guess what Tai has been world champ, went close last year and is a favourite this season. Ward cannot be world champion possibly in the next 2 years because of his own stupidity. He needs a Leigh Adams or Jason Crump to get hold of him and give an example of how to be a professional rather than just throw it all away. Best thing would be for him to get away from the comfort zone he has at Poole.

As long as the support pages are along the lines of giving Darcy support to get his career back on track and do what he does best then thats fine. If they are supporting him to get off on a technacality then that is wrong

Thats quite sad really. Im all for the guy riding again as a reformed man, but to go to the lengths of a support group as if there has been some sort of injustice done is beyond me
