  1. Last time I engage with you. You have absolutely no idea who I am and what type of connections I have. I can tell you that I have enough of them to know that you are stupid little child. Not feeding your psychotic ego from here on. Good day to you.
  2. Doesn't matter. Would not be ethically right to run under the current circumstances
  3. Will you do this board a favour and stop insulting the intelligence of those who post on it. You are certainly insulting mine and I take offence to that. Stop being a child. A WUM. A troll. If you can't then do us all a favour and stop posting. It is absolutely pathetic. This is an evolving situation and no planning would have been done until the Association had further and central government guidance. Like the rest of the nation and every business within it. You attention seeking little cretin.
  4. And there we have it. No medical cover, no speedway.
  5. Nobody is listening to you.

Your logic is a bit confusing my friend! An average attained from lower positions in the team, yet you think he can become a top rider but Lidsey can’t. I take nothing away from rasmus who was excellent, just can’t quite compute your logic!

If the season goes ahead, it’ll be a massive year for Rasmus. Riding as a bonafied heat leader will put a pressure on him he didn’t have last season. I agree about Ellis perks. He kicked on last season and if I were to pick a rider in the Swindon team who I thought would deliver the most growth it would be him. 2 very different teams BV and Swindon, but imo the 2 strongest.
  8. Even 6 weeks will be damaging. I think pretty much every club here will be pulling out their rental agreements. Without knowing the detail of any paperwork it’s difficult to say for certain how this will play out, but on the face of it, it doesn’t look good. If costs and bills still need paying and there is no income in a sport where the pot is dry, well that’s pretty straightforward stuff to work out. I was listening to Steve Worrall earlier today. His opinion was that speedway is a ‘top level sport’ and should follow the path of other professional motor sports. From a health and well-being perspective he is right, but from a financial one I have to admit I laughed out loud. Speedway will not be able to swallow the financial implications and we seem to have riders within the sport who don’t seem to fathom this, which would suggest there is no forward planning on their behalf.
  9. That’s an awful lot of pointless noise in a post which, ultimately, completely misses the point. The next steps for British Speedway will be decided by factors not in the hands of the association. This isn’t negative, and as has been pointed out to you already, it is the reality of where the sport currently sits. There is no bigger picture, and with the greatest of respect to you, the absolute drivel in your post suggests that it is actually people like yourself who are the issue in the supporter base of our sport, which is quite ironic looking at what you said.

Certainly hasn’t kicked on to the same degree as Max has. For a while there was little between them but Max really pulled away last year. The track will help Brady at BV but the travelling certainly won’t. I’m 50/50 on him. Hopefully he kicks on now he’s away from the ploughed field that is Wimborne road and at a proper race track.

It's got nothing to do with being a BV supporter. The titles he has at his age are way beyond average. Being a BV fan doesn't impact that part of my logic. If I felt he wasn't going to be good enough, I would say so.

Because he’s following the trend at this point in his career which has seen many Australian riders go on to qualify for the GP?

    Peterborough Panthers 2020

When the virus hits its peak? That is beyond wishful thinking. I don’t think people are grasping the velocity of what is about to happen, not just for speedway but many industries across the world and of course individuals and other large scale events and sports. There is no chance, absolutely non, that speedway resumes in 4 weeks time. This is a minimum 6 weeks to 2 months and even then it’s going to be debatable. Of course at that point we will have a massive fixture congestion and also riders availability going up against Poland etc. Ive been more than a little doom and gloom on here recently but unfortunately that is the reality of this current scenario. Imo there is little chance we will see a season.
  14. Because this thing has barely hit. We are talking months worth of damage. For a number of people I am coming across this virus and it's upcoming implications still hasn't landed with them. The severity for British speedway is that there will not be a season. Full stop. That's how I see it at the moment.
  15. Nick Morris and Douglas so far. I was told yesterday by a rider that they have all pretty much been briefed on what is coming. Basically sport will be suspended. For how long I don't know. My opinion as it stands is that we won't see a season at all here.

He’s not going to be here at all now :-)

Realise he’s based in Poland, I understood he was in the UK already.

Which is odd given he’s already in the UK. Aussies are packing up and going home.
  19. I think you will be pleasantly surprised
  20. That’s the impression I got yesterday as well. This thing ain’t peaking for around 6 weeks. As it stands this is a real, proper mess for the sport. I don’t think it’s coming back from this.
  21. The severity of this virus and the impact it is going to have on British speedway will become clear over the next week or so. This is one almighty s##tstorm. There will be a number of clubs, who imo, will not survive this. Will have to take stock in March of next and what is left that could/would resemble a sport.
  22. I'd be amazed if we see a season at all. Genuinely, I think after tomorrow that will be it until 2021.

    Corona virus

Will all be suspended after tomorrow. Right now, I don't think we see a 2020 british speedway season. Poland have stopped international flights. The chaos this will cause will quite frankly, not be worth the pain. Track availability in this country will be a huge deciding factor. I'm heading to Scunthorpe tomorrow to get the only fix I'll be getting this year!

When you WUM, you really must learn to hide it better.

I don't think this is speedway related. This is a dispute with the stadium owners. If I were to be annoyed at anything, it would be the prior knowledge that Peterborough speedway must surely have had.
