    World U21 final - lineup

What a crazy situation where Miedzinski scores 13 points and finishes 8th and Schlein is in the final after scoring just 8. I know they are the rules but surely its crackers isn't it ?? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Its gets worse with riders finishing 2nd, 6th, 7th and 8th in the final. Good luck to Miskowiak, while the others have earned the right to be in the final according to the rules, the only credible winner has to be Miskowiak in this race.

I'm confident that Shovvy with those bionic eyes will have already decided that it was a duff decision by the referee

  7. Does anyone know the strat time of this meeting on 25 Sept in pardubice. Its normally 1ish but I did hear a suggestion that it may be in the evening to show off the new lights at Pardubice. Just I don't land in Prague until 9.15 on the Saturday morning and a taxi and train journey to Pardubice will be a hell of a rush for a lucnhtime start

    Lindback

Spot on ML as someone who has seem him in 20 odd meetings this year tonios style is a bit wild and he is on the back wheel alot but he is just over-riding and trying too hard. His first race when he hit adams was too impetuous fair doos, the incident with boyce was just plain unlucky and 50% of the time boyce would have been xcluded rather than tonio for not trying too hard to stay upright. The 3rd incidedent was just going for the dirt line.Nerves and over-riding yes ..dirty definetly not. Glad to see the use of the word 'overriding' rather than dirty. For me its a tag that is too easily thrown at riders when in fact they are guilty of nothing more than giving 100%.

    Lindback

Quite right. Wouldn't accuse him on riding dirty. Dirty riding suggests you meant to knock someone off, he was just completely out of control. An example of dirty riding was the right elbow launched towards Gollob by Crump as they went into the 1st corner in Heat 25. No place for that in speedway Both are equally dangerous though

    Cardiff Bay

Quite impressive isn't it. My father was brought up in Cardiff in the 40's and said that Tiger Bay was a total no go area. Without doubt the roughest part of Cardiff and a place where you simply didn't go. Now its the most expensive real estate in Wales

    How was your GP day??

My £10 win on Greg at 18/1 made it a very special day Also meeting up with Lol Hare was great, he joined our group in the pub and have to say he was looking really good. He was taking girlfriend Lucy to her first ever speedway meeting.
  14. I will certainly hope to get to one of them. I'll be easy to spot, newly made Ibizan tan, No 1 cut all over my head and my Czech Speedway Team Dryml light blue Polo shrt

    Cardiff Parking

Whenever I go to the football (which I do for every Wales game) I park in the multi storey by the prison. When you see the castle on your right as you enter Cardiff turn left and follow the signs. I'm going on the train to meet up with a coach party who are going on Friday. Early start though, 7am ish out of Oxford
  17. Im sorry but i think thats perthetic.... Dont even know why you started this topic...as its a waste off time+space... Im going to give him a good reception Says the girl who started the season by predicting results down to even when riders are going to have engine failures

    Referees decisions

Surely you are joking about Pedersen's move on Greg. I haev not critiscised Nicki in the past but this was pure crazy. I really do worry that he is going to hurt someone. Hard riding is acceptable but what Nicki done tonight is not. I can't beleive we are talking about this incident in a thread about referee's decisions. The referee made the only decision to be made in this case.
  21. That place we stayed at last year Jeff was DOUBLE the price by booking through Motylek than by booking direct with the hotel. The tariff was just so much lower once you were there. Pension Klara is a small pension in a side street opposite the Park Hotel and Casino very close to Strossmayerovo Namesti
  22. Jeff We have stayed each time at the Pension Klara in Holesovice and I guess we will do again
  23. I'll be there as you know. There's 15 of us this year (getting more each year) on Brown's Tours. 14 are coming out on Thursday to Tuesday but sadly I cannot arrive until Saturday. Flight lands in Prague at 9am, so with a quick cab and a couple fo hours on the train I may just make the Junior Helmetat 12pm. Haven't booked a hotel yet, I'll let you know where we are staying. Did you say Helen wasn't going this year............just you on your own ??
