Surely Richard Lawson 3.38 EL/8.64 PL would have been better than both?

Gomolski should do a Lampart & be good at home; most Poles like the Abbey........ but crap away! Birks is the worry for me - a 5.5 point PL second-string, it must be a year too early for him? With 7.12 for the reserves & assuming Masters isn't available, I'd have gone for Lindgren & Lawson rather than those two.

Pavlic is 5.11. Kus, Lindgren, Mellgren, North, Stachyra, Gomolski all possibles. Or if we use Zengota, not Janowski, then Lampart, Gafurov, Dryml, Screen or Szcepaniak?

I make Birks 3.35, leaving 4.14 (6.9 PL) which isn't much for a decent reserve! Masters would be useful on 3.83 or possibly Richard Lawson, Tungate or Aspregren. Not looking good there!

Not a supply of "Competent British riders"? There are plenty in the PL & riders other nationalities who can double up & former EL riders who can come back on achieved averages! Masters is a steal on 3.83 but now with no 4 point foreigners even Dryml on 4.58 looks a powerful reserve! He's a GP reserve after all!

Yep,sad to see Steady go but it's the right decision - he's just not good enough away. Janowski, Zengota or Klindt with Morris should be the second strings behind Andersen, Harris/Schlein & Kildemand.
