    Poole 2019

Let's face it, there aren't many good analogies with speedway. Regardless, it was very poor for Poole to do nothing for Stefan when he broke a leg riding for them. Mitch Davey is not a Swindon asset but we raised thousands for him. Just common decency.

You think? We kept the same 1-7 except for an injury replacement, had a very good half season and were pretty good at home all year. While Poole were a laughing stock, particularly useless at home, used 13 riders, most with no connection to the club and got lucky.
  3. With Rye House’s results being expunged mid-season, Chris Harris’s average should have reverted to his starting average, which would have been too high for Poole to sign him. Should the BSPA remove Chris’s points from Poole’s results and award the 2018 title to Kings Lynn?

........ or is a blithering fool.

Everyone laughed at Poole this year. You were rubbish. Chris Harris was good though.

Just hoping Poole can be competitive from the outset rather than being a laughing stock again! How’s the search going for a number 1? You’ll have loads of number twos.

Can’t see 67 being enough. Will Chris Harris be the 68th?

    Swindon 2019

Troy flakey, but achieving 7.69. You need to look at all the puff pastry that’ll be returning to Poole next season! And no Chris Harris to bail you out!

If so, I’d have Berge and Stefan Nielsen at reserve. Both could add 2 points.

    Swindon 2019

If Berge is converted back from his 5.03 CL average on the 1.5 conversion rate, it gives 3.35, which would make him fit with Zach. Doyle Lampart Ellis Musielak Batchelor Wajtknecht Berge The strongest top four in the league and Berge certain to improve on 3.35.

If we sign Zach, it looks like the best we can hope for at number 7 is Shanes or Bacon.

    Swindon 2019

If he comes in on his 2012 average of 4.58, we can’t sign Stefan Nielsen and Zach. Surely, Jake Allen 4.56 or Summers 4.58 would have made more sense on that average? Bonkers.

Looks like Rosco’s been trying to do a Ford by trawling through the averages archive. Trouble is you’re supposed to find someone on the up! The best that can be said is that he averaged more than the Szzzzzpaniaks in Nice 1. Hope he’s learnt to turn corners.
  14. .6666666 the mark of the Poole team.

    Swindon 2019

4.39 or presumably 6.59 for a CL average only.

    Swindon 2019

There are several permutations. If the 1.5 conversion from PL to CL applies from CL to PL, several CL riders without PL averages look good value, such as Joel Andersen 3.4 and Tom Bacon 3.11. Doyle Jake Allen Ellis Musielak Batchelor Wajtknecht Joel Andersen Or Rasmus Jensen and Stefan Nielsen instead of Allen and Andersen.

Meanwhile, back on the south coast ....... a weak top end.

Lawson Bowtell Bridger (6.59?) Kerr Kennett (8.5?) Brennan Wood Like the look of that team.

    Lewis Bridger?

Surely Shovlar will stump up the £35k from his fine arts garage? He thinks Woryna is the next big thing, a World Champion in waiting.

Three from Summers, Allen, Wajtknecht, Berge, Robson, Kurtz, Nielsen and Shanes should round of the Robins nicely.
  22. Hmmmm ..... Bill Clinton begs to differ.
  23. What were the Poole riders’ adjusted averages when Chris signed?

But it’s not done. Lance Armstrong lost his seven TDF titles after the event. Time for Matt Ford to hold his hands up.
