from when the EWR first opened its gates the stadium has seen gradual improvement over the years, which compared to some stadiums have become rundown, i would say the stadium in its present guise is enough for the crowd levels they get, maybe a cover over the seats and cover over the first bend terracing would improve things, but these do not come cheap,as mentioned before maybe beg, steal, or borrow from glanford park when it finally becomes redundant, as for watching a winning side compared to being entertained,it takes me 12 miles to get to owlerton,and about 40 to get to the EWR, and last season i did the same number of meetings at both tracks, even though my allegiance falls on the side of the tigers, the EWR serves up superb action with so many racing lines and is always well prepared, so given my choice i would prefer to see entertainment by an unsuccessful side than a gate and go top of the table side.

well explained rob, as most of us know thats read the rules, its not rocket science. nice to see so many riders back for another season, no earth shattering new signing to get folks excited, but given an injury free season the scorps have the potential to challenge for a play off place, i do believe there is potential for 6 of them to increase their starting average, MPT could be the guy to add 2 and a half points and become a genuine number 1 at this level and young josh could double that starting average. looking for some good sunday weather to get me over to the best racing track in the land.
