Must be around 11 pm, the latest I've ever stayed until is around 10.30pm and there weren't many in, the staff were asking if anyone wanted any more drinks as I think they were thinking of closing up. You could always go out to the New Barrack Tavern which is about five minutes walk from the stadium.

Other than the Wolves riders I can't think of many riders who actually like Monmore Green. I couldn't understand why they used to hold the British Championship there year after year until the NSS was built.

Sheffield aren't guaranteed a playoff place yet, plus might it be to fit in at another club? However that's all terrace talk and don't mean anything tbh. It's just that he's a more than your average rider and his results on the continent far out way what he's been producing over here. Then there's been all the palarva this week, which I thought the 'wise old owl' Pete Adams might have noticed and made some representations, which might yet prove to be the case.

Yeah, and if you've been to meetings recently and heard the talk on the terraces, that's the story going around that it's a deliberate ploy to get it down for next season! Having been to all but one home meeting this season when was he out after trying to sort things out with his machinery? I don't recollect seeing him, but if he was then fairplay to him.

It's not down to the fans to to speak to the riders about their performance, what sort of chaos would that bring. It's down to the team manager and from what I saw and heard after the meeting Steady had some harsh but honest words with Adam and rightly so. Adam has been a top performer in the Sheffield team for two seasons previous to this one, not all Sheffield fans want him out, they just want him to show what he can do and has done for the previous two years and if that's not happening let them know why it's not, .... just be honest.

I've just been having a quick check on this and it would appear my sky Q box recorded last nights meeting on eurosport 2 on series link so I'm wondering if that may have affected what was shown on my tv. I was defo watching on the discovery+ app.

I got the ads as well, don't know why but it's the first time that it has happened whilst watching on discovery+.

Wouldn't be surprised with all the sh*t Damian Bates has had to put up with from the keyboard warriors in recent months. Who would keep pumping their money into trying to entertain a small minority of sports fans when the vocal element of that minority anonymously rip into you every chance they get. Anyone know what caused the 'bust up' between Wright and Brennan in the pits at the end of the meeting? They rode together in heat 14, but I didn't see anything happen on track that would have caused bad feeling between them. Apparently Wright had to be held back as he was very animated and aggressive towards Brennan who looked pretty upset by it all.

We had a burger and a pint of San Miguel in the Harvester across from the entrance to the Show ground, didn't need to see the track the car park of the Harvester had enough rain water in it!

Just looked at the radar predicted rainfall for the rest of the evening and it's showing light to moderate showers on and off for most of this evening. However seeing as this meeting is being covered by Eurosport does anyone think it will be called off after a little bit of rain?
