Good to see Lewis doing some community work before the meeting. http://lewisbridger.com/news -
Do check out this competition to spend some time with Lewis Bridger http://www.gofundme.com/277bhg Here the winner from his competition last year, talks about the time she spent with Lewis as her prize; Had a brilliant evening at Lakeside Hammers vs. Bellevue Aces as Lewis' guest after my competition win in April. Both Lewis and Ian were brilliant hosts and I was well looked after through out my visit. I met Lewis and Ian for tea in the Stadium Cafe and we had a brief chat. Then Lewis took me on a personal track walk and explained a bit about track preparation and how the riders approach a heat. We chatted a bit about speedway in general as well then went to the pits so Lewis could introduce me to his mechanic and talk me through some of the preparations he makes to the bike before a meeting. Lewis then got ready for the meeting whilst Ian and I went to the pit wall to await the start. After 5 heats I was brought on to the centre green and watched 4 heats from there including the rerun that Lewis won. It was an exciting meeting full of thrills and spills and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. I would like to thank both Lewis and Ian once again for the opportunity and ask all the Lakeside Hammers fans to continue to support Lewis throughout the remainder of the season and beyond.

Don't you have to have a licence to ride abroad? I though that if you were British, this was only issued to you if you rode in the Elite League? -

IF Tai does not ride in the Elite League next season, would that not prevent him getting a licence to ride in Poland and/or Sweden? -
World Cup Race Off - 18th July 2013

So the Team GB riders still haven't even been paid their costs for the SWC, it's no surprise that certain riders make themselves unavailable! -
From Lewis's website www.lewisbridger.com/news "A lot of people are asking me if I will be riding for Lakeside again next season. At the moment it is too early to make any promises, as everyone needs to wait and see what happens with the structure of the league. But If I was to continue racing in the UK next season, Lakeside would be my first choice club."

I'm sorry, nothing against Tai but how did he get "approval" to ride in the European Championship, when at least three (that I know of) British riders were not permitted to take part? It does sound a bit like one rule for one, one for the rest! -

Good meeting, good racing and an exciting finish, having trailed all evening GB (Bridger and Worrall) scored a 5 - 1 in Heat 15 for a 46 - 44 win! Some good young talent on show Kyle Newman did well as did Rohan Tungate and Tyson Nelson. -
Good to see Lewis Bridger's recent form being recognised with some bookings to ride for Grindsted in the Danish league this week! http://www.lewisbridger.com/news
