Draw for the 2017 Championship Best Pairs Group A: GLASGOW: Richard Lawson & Aaron Summers PETERBOROUGH: Chris Harris & Jack Holder IPSWICH: Danny King & Rory Schlein WORKINGTON: Thomas Jorgensen & Ty Proctor SCUNTHORPE: Michael Palm Toft & Lewis Kerr Group B: EDINBURGH: Sam Masters & Erik Riss NEWCASTLE: Robert Lambert & Steve Worrall SHEFFIELD: Josh Grajczonek & Kyle Howarth REDCAR: Charles Wright & Ben Barker BERWICK: Nick Morris & David Howe No Somerset this year so no Home Advantage But hang on we have 5 riders with Home Advantage (it was bad enough when just Somerset were represented with 2 riders) the home advantage moaners can now have a field day. Richard Lawson Michael Palm Toft Lewis Kerr Josh Grajczonek Charles Wright Difficult decision for the Rebels fans which one to cheer for.

Rule Book States 18.10.1 If a rider is representing their FMN in an FIM Speedway Championship, irrespective of the rider’s MA, a choice of Guest or Absent Rider Replacement facility (then the (if permitted by Art 18.10) is available. (if permitted by Art 18.10) is available. (if permitted by Art 18.10) is available. applies.) so a guest is OK but if you use the a choice of Guest or Absent Rider Replacement facility then (if permitted by Art 18.10) is available. (if permitted by Art 18.10) is available the word or defines it to two separate choices so Somerset chose the Guest Is that plainer for all -
