  1. You can do it without him no probs...
  2. Damn, you was in the shadows waiting for my mistake...
  3. Glad you not read that, the first post...
  4. Thanks to all concerned, see you at the track.
  5. Anyone with ideas for the Poznan-Landshut meeting, is Landshut for some reason maybe only riding on saturdays... We going to Poznan for that weekend, there's a local football match on the saturday (8th) and hoping to see both... Only a couple of weeks to go, starting to get a little anxious here...
  6. I think that was exactly my main point and should never happen. If your 9th, your night is over no matter how many above you are out of the meeting.

    Team Pedersen

Bugger of then. This tv show is the best thing for speedway in DK since Nicki won his latest title/they rode SGP at Parken.

Did not have the proper word for it, but its not a documentary. It follows Nickis family and what the daily life is like. Over here it's called "tosi-tv", hence my translation to real-tv.

From what I'm told it's real-tv, not a documentary. Guessing its about Nicki and his family, available on Discovery in Denmark, but not in Finland.

    ICE SPEEDWAY 2023

Probably at this level, yes. But they dont actually ever retire, ice racing riders...

    ICE SPEEDWAY 2023

If the only problem was money, as in tripled bill for the ice, surely it could have been sorted? They've done more stupid things in the past.

    ICE SPEEDWAY 2023

I really REALLY hope they contacted CCP before calling it quits… They could have helped. Not much left in series after this.
  13. FIM "WAITING-TO-HAPPEN" DANISH SPEEDWAY GRAND PRIX SKANSEN, OUTRUP 24th DECEMBER 2002 #1 Greg Hancock US 3333Fn 12 #16 Jason Crump AU 33203 11 #5 Mark Lemon AU 32222 11 #2 Tony Rickardsson SE 2332d 10 #15 Leigh Adams AU 23103 9 #3 Bo Brhel CZ 1133d 8 #8 Jack Holder AU 2123Fn 8 #10 Mark Loram GB 2131d 7 #9 Joonas Kylmäkorpi SE 3111Fn 6 #12 Ales Dryml CZ 02022 6 #7 Andy Smith GB 10212 6 #11 Chris Harris GB 12111 6 #14 Adrian Miedzinski PL 10003 4 #4 Wieslaw Jagus PL 00130 4 Martin Smolinski DE 0202Fn 4 Kaj Laukkanen FI 00003 3 Heat details from speedway-updates… Heavy watering during the last interval, why? No-one has a clue… Heat 17: Adams, Hancock Fn, Holder Fn, Loram d 67,98 Comments: Adams gates and takes the lead. On the back straight Loram finds incredible speed, passes bot Holder and Hancock on the inside only to clip Hancocks front wheel out mid turn. Holder has no where to go, flies over the fence and is knocked out. Hancock breaks a collarbone, both out of the meeting. Adams wins the rerun on his own with Loram excluded. Heat 18: Crump, Smith, Kylmäkorpi Fn, Rickardsson d 68,56 Comments: Crump flies away with it, Rickardsson left at the back. Third lap back straight Rickardsson slams Smith in to the fence leaving Kylmäkorpi clueless what to do. He hits the bike of the fallen Smith and breaks a finger. Out of the meeting with Rickardsson excluded as the cause of the stoppage. Easy win for Crump by almost a lap from the resun. Heat 19: Laukkanen, Dryml, Smolinski Fn, Brhel d 69,76 Comments: 1st bend bunching of the highest order as Brhel has nowhere else to go but through Smolinski. For no obvious reason Gardell disqualifies Brhel with Smolinski badly concussed and out of the meeting. Plain sailing for Laukkanen in the rerun. Heat 20: Miedzinski, Lemon, Harris, Jagus 72,32 Comments: FTG, what a relief after the previous three… Semi 1: Hancock N, Rickardsson N, Brhel N, Holder N no time Comments: All riders out injured, heat not ridden. Semi 2: Adams, Lemon, Crump, Loram N 67,32 Comments: Three riders only, FTG Final: Lemon, Adams R 65,54 Comments: WTF, what a downer with Adams retiring with a puncture on lap 2. EDIT: I forgot to give rides to the reserves, but they were useless
  14. All that was BEFORE I had them drinks…
  15. It wasnt all that difficult to come up with a scorechart that had semifinal 1 with no riders (all injured in heats 17-20) and semi2 with three riders only with one injured. All it took was the CoC messing with a track he had no prior knowledge of thinking he knows it better than the locals… I left the paper at work, I’ll write it here later on how it all went
  16. No, just the opposite. U were unsure of the rule, so I tried to point out that it if a rider finishing 9th were eligible to ride in a semi, it WOULD SAY SO in the rule book. It doesn't and that's good. Well basically there could be a HUUUUUUGE pileup in heat 17 resulting in semi 1 being declared. ....and I'll wait you to do the math on that.
  17. No. Isn't the whole point of the three last heats to give the eight best so far a chance to score more. It might be stupid, but that's the point of it.
  18. There should also be a clause stating if you dont ride in the semis, your ninth, or tenth or even eleventh if theres a big pileup in heat 20.

    Gp 2023

Because they are willing and able to host a round. Thats the one answer there is.

    Gp 2023

I wouldn't mind if they did a third year without any changes... What annoys me is the fact that they made such a fuss about how good they are and how things would change only to find out they had bugger all idea what they were taking on to run.

What was the news about an indoor event in CZ? I thought it was a done deal?
  22. I remember reading some time ago about NIMBYs being against speedway returning to the Poznan track, and having now visited it I can see why… Doesnt even matter if the Bolt driver shafted us, as the ride didnt cost that much. But anyway, we drove almost in circles through quite a large area of houses, which I actually thought were quite nice… Sorry to say but Lindbacks track record is against him, should have spent the dosh on someone else. I liked Poznan, will be going again some day to see the speedway.
