We've used the Wizard of Oz for a long time for Crumpie, the snippets of songs were to get specific lines in themed to what was going on like, mardy bum, scumbag, que sera, hit the road jack etc. Anyway glad you enjoyed some of it

It was a pleasure to be there for Johno!, Coventry only have to ask us and we'll be back like a shot, the balls totally in their court. But its nice to know our efforts were appreciated Johno came over to us in the bar and said what a great job we'd done and how he was looking forward to working with us with Sky next week at the British GP. He also gave me one of the trophies as a thankyou for stepping in at such short notice which was a nice touch. Fingers Crossed

Had a call off the man himself 'Johno' to thank us for stepping in to do the presentation and disco for his Testimonial. I thought it was a nice touch to ring us himself, top bloke and he said to play plenty of Kevin Bloody Wilson throughout the day, even in the stadium lol.

Think it'll be a wet one in the bar/disco too with people wishing Johno all the best Not sure if its been advertised but Rosco's doing an auction for Johno in the Understand Bar too after the meeting so get in early

Many thanks to the Testimonial Commitee along with Colin, for inviting us to do the presentation and disco for this meeting, in response to an offer we made upon the Testimonial launch. Johno was a huge part of the treble winning side last season and it'll be nice to be back at Brandon for a Speedway Meeting this season. Plenty of Kevin Wilson and Rosco's coming into the bar after the meeting to compere the auction. Really looking forward to it and will be a great chance to get Brandon Bouncing again !

And don't forget we'll be doing all the dj'ing in the stadium so any birthday requests or mentions just drop me a pm before the event and we'll see what we can sort. Plenty of Bees and Brummies Music

Thanks all managed to get in at a hotel 'City Hotel Nebo' near the Central train Station £200 for 2 x nights for 4 people so pretty cheap for Copenhagen. Think they still have rooms if anyone else is struggling Thanx again Bart

Didn't stay for the night but Smoli looked excellent in the day, thought the whole show was a bit amateur from the presentation through to cancelling parts of the meeting and not having enough riders on standby to run races. People I'm sure would have preferred a programme change than no race at all, it was expensive enough to go in ! Couldn't hear the announcer at all for the first 20 mins in the afternoon unless it was where we were sitting. Haven't been for about 3 years but will give it a miss in future I think, I remember the interval entertainment being better too with the Hans Nielsen big boxing glove thing and such like? Best wishes to Craig and David for a speedy recovery.

We shot straight off after the meeting, how did the auction go, what raised the most money??
