    Sheffield Speedway/tigers Programmes, 1970s/early 80s Value?

There is something in the region of half a wardrobe full of modern speedway magazines, I simply dont have the space to store them even temporarily. My brother might take that task on. So I just retrieved anything that seemed historical, specifically the fixture programmes. Im not expecting there to be much value in then, but if I can pass them onto genuine enthusiasts and make a few beer tokens at the same time, im sure my old grandad would approve!
  2. Hi All, Firstly, let me point out that I know little about speedway! It was my grandads big interest, sadaly he passed away earlier this week, As part of sorting out his stuff, I had the task of going through the hundreds of speedway magazines he had. Most were very modern, 2000's onwards editions, which I have not salvaged, but amongst them were a number of magazines and books from the mid to late 1970s, and early 80s, Of more interest though, are the programmes I found from the same dates for fixtures at Sheffield Speedway, and specifically many for Sheffield Tigers. These I feel might have more appeal to collectors, and so I have salvaged these, and am in the process of cataloging them. I wonder if you people would be able to give me some honest advise regarding likely value to collectors? The programmes are all used, but mostly in resonable condition for their age. I know that normally its considered to lower the value if publications are not in 'newstand' condition, but perhaps the fact these have the racecards filled in might be of historical interest? Any advise and value info would be much appreciated, Thanks
