3rd heat leader is a English born Frenchman so I've heard & that makes the pirates stronger than last season... If his average fits which I'm sure it's less than Danny kings average from last season

They will again this season imo if the cooks can stay injury free then they will add at least a point or 2 to there starting averages & that will be good enough for a play off place come September

I don't think we will need to make changes, we could have done last season with the way some of our riders were performing but we kept faith and it worked out pretty well. Also our number 7 is better, more experienced rider although I hope Ablitt will be back at some point in the future.
Some good teams in the league but the pirates always deliver in the end

Think the rules have changed which may allow it to happen

Would yous take a new Zealand rider who rode under a lot of pressure over here last season up north & has bags of potential & would do a good job in the national League

Pity our former owner/ promoter / ex rider never asked Rob for help ( maybe he did but as Frank Sinatra sung ( I did it my way ) & look what happened ) & I still think that THJ had a good plan in the meeting we attended in November 2021 in the south gosforth club & we'd probably be still going & looking forward to the 2023 season imo

Yes and no... not trying to be elusive but it will be a Saturday and me personally would like it to be a couple of hours earlier but the consensus seems to be later not earlier (seen your Rugby clashes) and this is to accommodate any locals who may be working a Saturday morning shift... floodlights would definitely make it later... just have to wait and see what transpires after the new year...
And a butt plug for you... a very large one at that...
However the other bonus will be Steve Lawson in the pits who will be there to offer advice... and if these young kids (and their mechanic's) don't grasp that with both hands and listen to what the legend is saying they will definitely miss the opportunity of a life time...

Humber bridge £3 ,diesel approx £6 , pint approx £4 , entrance and programme £20
so Approx in monetary terms £33 for 15 minutes of entertainment??
So approx £33 per home meeting , is it good value possibly not . But if we don’t attend we will lose it and I’ve seen Hull close in 2005 after a successful 2004 season sadly . Put the rising costs on all hobbies, will I be at the EW Raceway in 2023 too right I will and I hope many others will as well .Support your local track
You could save a possible £9 there & get a electric powered pedal bike & cut out the Humber bridge & the diesel lol

Taking into account all his Champ level matches (inc guesting) minus his Newcastle home matches and he averaged 4.32 (4.72).
Away from Brough Park he did much better!
Brough park was certainly not a favourite of Lee's in terms of tracks but he did give it his all on track & did have some decent rides especially when he was in scoring position rides but unfortunately either got an EF or came off & tbh he was 1 of the better riders in a poor team

Cracking signing for the comets is young ACE !! From what I saw at the end of the season at Redcar ( he was mixing it with the top lads of the championship & beating some of them ) but what's more impressive is they way he conducts himself which stands him in good stead for the future & is a credit to his parents & can't wait for 2023 to see how he progresses

Although he really should be adding to it this season, plenty of talent but too many ‘F’ and ‘EF’s’, hope he makes it to that ‘next step’ this year.
New glasses says I can

I can see Elliott putting at least a point & a half on his home average no problem...

Connor Bailey-Theo Pijper- or Lee Complin to complete the side ???
Bailey/Pijper would be in the main body due to average, but Complin would start at reserve and push Bowtell upwards.....
Won't be complin
