Just a thought about the current situation, I know the cut off for racing is normally 31st October but is it possible to use stadium past that point... Although I'm personally thinking this season is going to be written off totally, don't mean to be a doom merchant just my gut feeling...

New cut off date could be the eve of the man who gets stuck in the fire breast

They distracted him, as he couldn't seem to get it right, meaning if he started first he was usually third into the bend. Why did it work at KL but not Newcastle ?.

Wonder if baby bjerre had the same gizmos or was he just taken the urine

Very true. it was known he was a hater and dis for Kings Lynn as his results show. Known as a gater, and also having the special gizmos on his bike to improve it, he regular failed to reset it at the start, and after moving first would usually be third into the 1st bend.

So his gizmos basically never worked ha

Is this going to be Garrity's first offence? In which case would it surprise anyone if he got a non-custodial sentence, or a suspended sentence at worst? Then what?

He'll be free to walk the streets again. Trendy Lefties will be preaching "rehabilitation", some will even preach "compassion" and "forgiveness".

As it stands, he's not suspended from the team, and if speedway started again, so would he. And here's a forecast....just like Erik Cantona was forgiven for his crime, Garrity will be given a second chance, will rack up the points and be forgiven by the fans too.  Just a guess like...

I would imagine that garrity won't even have bought his license to ride if he's had to rob at knifepoint so therefore shouldn't even be considered for 1 if & when he applies for 1..

Well of course not .. but he was  quite clearly desperate .. that's does  not  mean you should rob people or that Garrity is not the scum of the earth  but on a General point speedway riders must be  finding it  really hard

If your THAT desperate to rob anybody at knifepoint you clearly deserve that everything comes to you

There are thousands of people up and down the country that are finding it ‘really hard’. However, at no point does that make it acceptable to go out and rob a vulnerable adult at knifepoint. The very fact you’ve even tried to defend or even understand his actions is very worrying. He deserves every bit of punishment that comes his way the absolute lowlife scum.

Spot on I once remember a time at Redcar when Ben Barker took him out ( naughty & dirty ride ) & garrity came back in the pits & went for a rear wheel sprocket & was going to go at Barker with it & me & 1 of the pit staff had to get a hold of him & calm him down as he was going nuts & clearly wanted to hurt Barker !! Not good man & what a talent has now gone to work for her majesty in the big house !! Silly silly lad

True... but you would still rather be there watching some Speedway having a pint and a hog roast banjo than being locked in watching the tripe being dished up on this telly am sure.... am nearly regretting flagging over me garden cos if a had some grass to cut a would be out doing that... there's only so many times you can clean windows or wash a car...

Agree but just to keep the lips wet it's best to drink 1 & hold the other & make sure the bar tender is pouring the next 1 in readiness to keep the empty always full ha

    Not really....

I only drink twice a week....

Once for four days and once for three...

I have also been told to have a well balance diet... the best way to do that I have found is to have a drink in each hand....

He would have done if... and it was only if... they (you know who) could have committed to the club running this year.... his mind was made up for him I think early in the September... when one promoter was telling anyone who woukd listen that he was walking and the other one was saying he was taking the club down a league... so if we had one of the promoters saying we were definitelty running Steve told me he would have stayed... well for one promoter not the other...  but neither of the goons would give an inch and through their own arrogance put the whole club in jeopardy... so if Rob Grant had of been in the picture then it may have been a totally different story...  but al tell ya what their kid has a job on in Forest Hall with his groundworks business and he told me two week ago just before the lockdown when I dropped in to see him that... and dependant on Covid 19 restrictions... there kid was gonna come up for a couple of weeks to do a bit of graft... we had arranged to go out for a beer and a bite to eat but that has been scuppered for now.... but when we do get together I will ask him again... I very much doubt he has changed his mind... however I will report back what he says..

    Howzat grab ya...

Just watched Matt ford on the video on the sgb page and Steve Worralls name was mentioned twice with the accusation he hadn’t been paid by Newcastle speedway.

Just seen the comments by matt ford regarding Steve worrall & I find them a bit strange ti what I know of !! But enough said on that 1 & it would have been a good night but cold 1 for the speedway tonight

Went to Sunday school, and in the same Boys Club as Mike. He was also in the training school before mine at C. A. Parsons. I went to the same school as Mike Hiftle, who was always a tearaway from Walkerville.

Another walkerville tearaway is our track sparky lol
