Sadly this really changes nothing. Brandon Estates still own the site so little doubt they'll try again and again. Might take 10-15 years, but they'll get pp in the end.

Ludicrous that Birmingham and Workington have decided to move up a league when neither of the could make it pay in lower leagues last year. Even more crazy is Oxford running in 3 leagues! Predict all 3 will be gone before end of next season.

He can report on audience figures, but kept repeating "I can't tell you". Sorry, but that won't wash in a public inquiry and you could see how uncomfortable he looked during his cross examination. The guy from sport England was woeful, but Morris wasn't as brilliant as posters here are trying to paint him.

Not so sure his repeated "can't give you details due to confidentiality" was very helpful. It's supposed to be a public inquiry. Surely this should be in the public domain.

Not idiotic - realistic. We're in the middle of the worst cost of crisis in living memory, and a sport where tracks are dropping like flies. You seriously think the local council are going to allow money to be blown on something that, with the best will in the world, appeals to a couple of hundred people in the area? It's utter fantasy
