  1. I think the Poles are strong and this format suits them.  A bit similar to GB in a round about way, I'd use Kolodziej.  However, I see the Poles like this. Bartosz is great, Janowski is top notch at Wroclaw.  Kubera and Dudek are gaters and Kolodziej is box office but not strictly a gater.  I'd use Kolodziej when Dudek and Kubera are in gates 3 & 4.

  2. I'm not having a pop at Adam and Tom, but just don't believe they're good enough at this level. I'm not saying they won't do their best and I'm not thinking any replacements will do any better. We have at this time 3 top riders and we need 5. Take heat 1  tonight, it's Adams best chance from Gate 1. There's a chance he could gate and go, stick to the white line and win. I don't think that'll happen, but I'd be disappointed if Dan didn't win if replacing him. Why throw away a gate 1 opportunity?

Would love to have egg on my face come tomorrow and be proved wrong.

You''re advocating giving away Brennan and Ellis's easiest rides to Bewley, and throwing away the other Brennan/Ellis rides ?

    That seems totally backwards.

If we're going to win we need Bewley, Lambert and Woffinden winning off any gate and then giving the best opportunity to Brennan/Ellis to pick up points in the other.

You really want to give our best rider the best gates and easiest rides, and then throw our weakest riders to the wolves for no points?

Yep that's exactly what I'm saying.  Hope Ellis and Brennan do well, but realisticly they're out of their depth.  Don't waste the best gates on them. Sometimes you have to be harsh. It's not a time for sentiment.
