With a rumoured 38 points limit and with the usual British average percentage reductions of averages I can see something like: (Please note rough averages) 1) S Worrall 8.00 2) Jack Thomas 4.80 or A Foreigner 5.00 3) Zach Cook 6.20 4) Anders Rowe 5.90 5) Ben Cook 7.40 6) Joe Thompson 3.60 7) Sam Hagon 2.60 All riders imo have potential to improve averages.

Is there not a 5% reduction for British riders like last season? If there was than you could fit 6 of the team from last year. King 7.85 Worrall 7.85 Lawson 7.76 B Cook 6.09 Z Cook 4.92 J.MacDonald 3.51 N Ablitt 2.00 39.88

Thank you and so glad I won this competition on my 3rd try after being knocked out straight away last year. Thanks to IceScot for keeping me on my toes and thanks to R and R for another great competition. If I don't win anything than my win goes out to remembrance of all the riders who have put on the overalls and have passed away this year and thanks to them for giving us entertainment through the years. Kind regards Joe -

I did this last year (or was it the year before) risking maximum total when I had a big lead to Susans1 near the end and in the end it cost me my lead and they put in small bets in the end to preserve their lead. Nothing wrong with that and I thought it was well played. It would be nice to win one but to be honest, I am not sure whose going to do well in this one. Thank you for the message and placing my bet on Holder. Kind regards -

Disgraceful. How on earth did I know? I didn't do it on purpose and only do it for a bit of fun. I do have a life and I am not 100% following Matej Zagars in and outs or that bothered about winning. I am just taking part. Please do not accuse me of anything like that again. -

2019 Sgp Qualifiers - GP challenge final landshut Saturday July 28th

I actually agree with this to an extent and in terms of the track I think both Smolinski and Milik will do very well. I would also expect an experienced rider like Zagar or Iversen possibly even a Lindback on his day to qualify. Do the young guys possess the experience... possibly not but I would give the best chance to Robert Lambert making the top 3 but I will be interested to see how Jack Holder goes as he is very much a form man in the UK atm. -

WORLD U21 QUALIFIER
Joe Beevers replied to Gunner85's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
I would guess that maybe the two Swedes Hjelmland and Kling as they just missed out and there are not any Swedes currently qualified. Last place is a mystery though although I would expect the Czech Hajek or one of the Germans Spiller or Fienhage to get it over Wajtknecht as the Czechs nor Germans have a representative. Jaimon Lidsey from Australia also a possibility after an exclusion in his last heat is a possibility. It would be ridiculous to give to another Pole. -

If you want to be pedantic about a typo, than may I add your English grammar from reading your two posts is very poor. Almost like a teenager wrote it. It would be 'Or are you just jealous of THE Polish League'. -
Similar to the thread I started a few months ago in regards to the best riders to have never won the World Championship, I decided to do one for the British Final. Found this difficult to do as most of the early years of British Finals were won by the Antipodeans such as Briggs and Mauger so some were unfortunately not to get in but this British Final is based on a criteria of riders who have retired from speedway and have never won but been close or taken part in many. Here is the list: 1) Doug Wyer 2) Simon Cross 3) Paul Hurry 4) John Davis 5) Dean Barker 6) Nigel Boocock 7) Carl Stonehewer 8) Alan Grahame 9) Les Collins 10) Ron How 11) David Norris 12) Terry Betts 13) Jeremy Doncaster 14) Ken McKinlay 15) Martin Dugard 16) Phil Collins 17) Roy Trigg - Reserve 18) Colin Pratt - Reserve All these riders have rostrumed either once or multiple times without winning except for Les Collins who gets through with two 4ths and a W.C rostrum and the two reserves who also did not rostrum but have made World Finals/GPS to be considered. May make changes though but a good strong lineup and will put a result down laterbin the thread perhaps.

Interesting the Latvian getting second. Wouldn't have picked him to be most that field. Very suprised at Joel Andersson scoring 4. Just watched him the other day beat Bartosz Zmarslik and a few other top riders in a race. Sad at seeing Ellis miss out and knowing how much the FIM love British speedway and heir allocated GP qualifying places, I would be suprised if he got a wildcard.
