New Speedway Game (online) Simulator
Gaz W replied to mikowhy's topic in International World of Speedway
Hi all, thought I'd download the game this morning to see what all the fuss was about it's very addictive. I was wondering what sort of times people were getting around the British tracks. I'm not ready to race anyone yet as Cardiff is the only track i can get round at the moment. On the Polish tracks i have still yet to get round one in under 2 minutes -
What's the chance of the phrase "thriller in Malilla" being used my the commentry team at the Grand Prix
-
Are you saying then Crump,Pedersen,Jonsson can't ride on tracks with dirt on and if Crump and Adams ride on slick tracks week in week out don't Stead and Richardson
-
I think Pearson said that the ref was Milan Spinka. Is that the former Swindon rider?

Disappointing Grand Prix, gutted for Greg. Only bit that I remember was after heat 8 or 9,when Gollob beat Hampel and Millard said the Polish fans were filling in their programmes with avengance. How the hell do you fill your programme in with avengance ? -
Just some random remarks i've found, made after the Slovenian GP

I was there too it was October 1979 Tormod Langli was the only Halifax rider to beat a Cradley rider (Erik Gundersen) who was at reserve then. I remember us leading Poole 35-7 after 7 heats in 1983. I think Poole managed to score 20 points though in the end.

I remember Keith Chrisco riding the fence at Dudley wood in a test match in the early eighties and was it Middlesborough who had Donny Odom and Doug Nicol riding for them. One American who wasn't here for long but looked a decent rider was Ron Preston.
-
Cradley rider is definitely Bruce Penhall leading Steve Bastable
-
Don't know if anyone has had a go at these or not 317 Andy Smith 318 Phil Collins 319 Neil Collins 320 Kenny McKinna?

Am i the only person who thought it wasn't a great grand prix. Chris Louis was on about the wide open spaces but if anyone moved off the white line they went backwards. Surely on these permanent tracks they could make more effort to put more dirt down and we could see more than one racing line.

I have been given 2 racejackets i know one is the number 8 bib worn by Johnny Boulger in the 1977 Golden Hammer but the other one is a mystery. It's a white U.S.A. bib with a number 13 on the back,it has no sponsorship names on it and the number and the straps are black,we think it's from the early eighties. I know it's not much to go on but any idea as to who might have worn it would be great.
