He wasn't everyone's cup of tea but he did get "out there" and drum up business. Was round the holiday places on the coast and in town. Tried hard. It's a bit open the doors and hope people turn up now.

See an Eastbourne Speedway bike is on the sponsor's stand at a big business event in Eastbourne today. More good publicity for the Eagles. You have to say IT First are opening lots of doors for Eastbourne. It will pay off in time.

You should be employed to advise clubs on the rules: a call to you should be a promoter's first move. Paid consultant, of course
-
Certainly has turned largely into gate and go track. Great shame
-
If you had expressed yourself in those terms, we could have saved this afternoon.

Your opinions would become facts if you had posted: Holder's average after the first six meetings was X. It is now X+ 3: that would be FACT. Davey's best score until the last two meetings was X. In the last two meetings he scored X+3 and X +4 Magic is still not Paul Daniels.
-
It is about the use of the English language My opinion is that Holder is not improving, I don't think Davey is getting better, I don't think Magic has been brilliant Just my opinions, of course, but I don't dress them us a FACTS. FACTS are measurable.ie: Holder was world champion but not now = he is not improving Davey was a No 1 - he is not now = he is not improving Magic is not a member of the Magic Circle Kyle Newman is top of the reserves list so I accept he is the best =FACT

It is simple, opinions cannot be factually correct. They are opinions. You are entitled to your opinions. What you cannot do, is portray opinions as fact. It is simple. It is how the English language works. Some of your statements cannot be proved to be true. Therefore, they are opinions.
-
Opinions are just that - your view, your opinion. You cannot make an opinion a FACT. You have claimed that your opinions are facts: they just can't be. Holder still isn't the rider he was, but he's improving and gives 100% to Poole every time he gets on his bike. FACT. OPINION Davey seems to be coming out of his slump in recent meetings. FACT. OPINION Gomolski is riding to his average. FACT. Dak has been far better than many of us (me included) predicted this season. FACT (in as much as the reference to yourself) Magic is just that...magic! FACT. OPINION Kyle is riding exactly as expected and is arguably the best EDR rider in the EL. FACT. OPINION Starke is a little up and down and is riding (give or take) to his average. FACT.

Wow, Eastbourne straight out of the blocks this morning and having Hopwood signed by the time I had finished by mid morning break. Great work by the Eagles management (again!).

Better all round from the Stars. Milik an instant hit (we do like our Czech riders), racing improved, better atmosphere and shoutie centre concrete man gone. Interviews when the tractors/bikes warming up are a problem at most tracks. -
Calm down Alex2000. Probably best to spend lunchtime in a darkened room. You will have to learn to deal with the excitement.

Be interesting to see if the new guy can spark the season to life. If not, the wait will continue -

Should be at home on a nice big track but he will need to trap like Brhel -
Kelsey is doing just fine, scoring lots of points. 7+1 yesterday and two heat wins. Thank you very much.

Mason got it; Perry just failed to make it

I think Kirby had bike problems and that's why he missed those two races. He was excluded from heats nine and ten for failing to beat the 2 mins. No mysteries, no dramas and no mistakes. I think Horley got things pretty much right on Sunday, although it was rather generous to have an all 4 back in heat two.

Still think they should do 4 races as quick as you like; then a proper grade. Do four more races and do proper grade and then after ht 12 have interval for more grading. You do seem to get more spills in NL but the referees need to keep their finger on the button during that four-race spell of racing.
