British Final (belle Vue) 19th June 2017
Edwardian1 replied to Phil The Ace's topic in Speedway Testimonials & Individual and Shared Events
I did say I wouldn't be returning to Bellvue but I am making an exception for this one. Truly looking forward to it. All who are competing have earned their place and deserve to be racing. While I am sorry to say R Lambert did not. If he is (sneaked in) it just makes a mockery of qualifying Yes I am aware his vehicle broke down, but it did not stop him riding abroad the next day It kind of makes one think " oh don't need to do qualifying I will get a place anyway ". And to add, While I think Rory is one my favourites he should not have been allowed in the Qualifying round British racers are NOT allowed in any Australian championships, the same should be applied here. -
Yes and it will be written and re written as the season progresses

Sorry but if that is what it comes down to is his average. The least that Mr Lemon could have done was to giveR Worrall a call to say his services weren't required giving him ample time to gain a position elsewhere It's seems both Mr Lemon and Mr Sedgeman have known the situation for a while. And No I don't think Mr Sedgeman will progress the same as Grajczonek didn't progress

I for one am hugely disappointed, I supported Belle vue last season and was very proud of to do so. I enjoyed my time supporting them Home and Away immensely. I was of the opinion I would be returning This year. Sadly this will not be case. R Worrall is a home grown asset and very loyal, per his quote everyone else's phone rang except his. In the speedway star today it states Mr Lemon and Mr Sedgman were in talks a while ago. So why didn't R Worrall's Phone ring even to pre warn your services will not be required for 2017 as soon as Mr Lemon knew he was having Mr Sedgman In his 2017 line up.Thus leaving R Worrall with no ride I am deeply disappointed in the way this come about and seems hugely underhand R Worrall reminds me of Hovis, "As good today as he's always been" Mr Sedgmen has been there and done it and will not Progress any further. And Mr Lemon well he's just rather bitter.

One is really excited for this contest One is praying for No Rain to -
Hold on, How do you think Robert got where he is now, I would say with his parents right behind him in the pits. Why should someone come in at this point in his young life His family will have put a great deal of time effort and no doubt plenty of money into helping Robert from a very young Age so why should they step back now.? They deserve to be there and no doubt Robert wants them there too.

I don't think Worrall on thin ice. He's holding his own credit where it's due me thinks. -
Really hope Stuart Robson is ok. He's having an awful run at the moment. All the best to you Stuart. .

These riders Do this sport as a full time job though. And a dangerous one at that I know they choose to do it But they also do it because they love it otherwise why would they put their lives on the line like they do They are a rare breed. But you're correct British Speedway needs a proper plan. -

Having read Worralls report in the Speedway Star. To me it dosent seem he's having a whinge. To me it seems he's just pointing a few facts out and how in his opinion things could be better for himself and other British lads. No harm in that is there? Plus someone reported on here he has a Moto x bike and a jet ski. How do we know they are his they could be his brothers or they bought them between them but that's nothing to do with us. What I do know is the van he uses to get him to and from his racing is only on loan to him via a sponsor. And if you look at his Facebook he did have a car but has just sold it and ploughed the money from it into his equipment. Don't knock the lad he's trying and he's thinking of his fellow racers too.
