    POOLE 2023

I despise stadia UK / gaming international. An absolute cancer on our sport.

    BERWICK v GLASGOW (BSN) April 15th - 7pm

Minimum wage is now over £10. There's no way speedway is going to come Down in price. It's cheap for a pro motorsports as it is.
  3. I've never seen it as busy, came through from Glasgow and car parks full before 7. Great to see, both sides had huge numbers in attendance.
  4. Well that was enjoyable. Great meeting, Poole are a class act but we've definitely kept ourselves in it.
  5. Terrific meeting. Some outstanding racing. The final score shows it was comfortable in the end but scunny were very good value. Most enjoyable.

    Glasgow v Berwick April 12th

A terrific meeting. Bickley and Sarge did fantastically well. A great advert for Speedway and awesome to see so many paying customers in attendence. But I'm going to stick my neck out and say we are going to get beat tomorrow night. The racing was tight and I think home advantage will swing it for Berwick. The only downside was Etheridges injury and we all hope he is fine.

    AGM November 2018

Managed decline, isn't it? 7 top tier teams and probably 9 or ten home meetings in the championship. There's nothing I can say as positive there for league speedway, and I try to be a glass half full kind of guy. Increased individual (international) meetings seems to be the only benefit. However, nothing I can do about it and I'll continue to enjoy speedway until it's over (and I'd give it a fair few years at part time level. Strange how it seems quite popular on the TV right enough.
  8. Beaten at reserve, expected. I strongly believe Glasgow will be there or thereabouts for the playoffs.
  9. Wow. That was a hell of a meeting. A terrific advert for speedway with proper neck and neck racing and a big crowd going absolutely mental from start to finish. Greaves crash looked horrible - he landed on top of the air fence but hopefully he is not too badly hurt. 10/10.
  10. Very excited at this meeting. Great to see Cok around Ashfield again, and Doolan, Etheridge, etc should make it action packed. I'm done with predicting Glasgow victories

    Glasgow 2018

No rules Broken, 3 meetings max missed. His average means we will have good pick of replacements.
  12. BTW - if you get the impression all is not well in Glasgow, I can confirm: 1) we have one of the best tracks in the league. The racing has been excellent. Last Sunday was exceptionally hot and windy. 2) The crowds are extremely healthy
  13. What can we say....... I've supported Bomber but he's lost us two vital meetings this season already. Ruml being out obviously acted in Edinburghs favour, but that's by the by really. Edinburgh's top 2 looked a shoe in in 15 regardless. To me it looks like the Facenna era is running out of steam, which is a shame but it is what it is. I wouldn't be at all surprised if Harris walked. For me, Vissing, Kerr, Thomas are 100% keepers. Probably Worral as well, though his carry on is getting tiresome. The rest - not so sure. Cami Brown is not a manager.
  14. Agreed 100%. What happened today with Harris would never be allowed to happen had he been taking part in a GP or any meeting he was taking seriously. A total shambles, poor management, unproffesional preparations and seemingly no answer as the meeting went on. On the positive side it's goo to see worky doing well. PS WTF was Brown thinking in heat 15? Completely amateurish and summed it up. * I would take Masters at the mo, sorry Bomber, but that was appaling.
