  1. There’s no doubt there will be a good turnout tonight, but they will not get the same for the remainder of the season, So 1st poor turnout and that will be the end, very sad but understandable

    Birmingham Brummies 2020

So does the statement mean there must be a good attendance next week and we carry on till the end of the season, or does it mean the 1st bad attendance during the season and we finished

I thinking about buying a ticket for Wednesday as I don’t like Football, But is the meeting 100% on ?
  4. Out of interest who is the Track Curator at Birmingham is it still John Priest and Big Arthur
  5. Let’s get one thing straight there’s been a dog meeting at Perry Barr on a Wednesday for a long time, it goes back to the Tony Mole time as owner, and his track men could not get on the track until 2pm, So please don’t give us the “Surprised Dog Meeting “ crap

    Newcastle 2020

I have followed Adams Career from is time at Mildenhall, So when I heard he had signed for Newcastle I thought I would look on the forum to see what supporters thoughts were, and of course it was all about is Bad luck over many Seasons, But I really believe he will do an excellent job for Newcastle. However looking at the Newcastle thread I didn’t know about the Problems the previous Promotion Financial problems, So out of interest I went on Company House Website were I had a hell of a shock seeing they owe the tax man in excess of £150K must be very worrying times for the previous owners. I hope Adam as a great Season for the Diamonds and as a injury free season as boy does he deserve it.

Are you serious do you really think you would not receive a Prison sentence for Income Tax evasion

    Newcastle 2020

There is 2 things that stand out about the current situation at Newcastle, 1.Grant never did his Du Diligence before he purchased the club, big mistake. 2.It really is a massive worry time for the previous Directors of the Club, If I was one, every time there was a knock on my Door my heart would miss a beat, Having heard the amount involved there really is a distinct possibility of a Jail sentence for them.
  12. Let’s get one thing clear this is NOT the British Final, It’s an open meeting made up of 16 riders who are available we all know it’s not the best 16 BRITISH riders, and for the BSPA to call it the British Final is insulting our intelligence and should be prosecuted under the Trades Description Act
  13. Tomorrows Daily Mirror and Daily Express make interesting reading
  14. When Jason Crump finished in British Speedway did he have a Fairwell meeting?
  15. Be very interesting to see is reaction if it’s raining on is Fairwell Meeting,
  16. Argos

    Jason Crump

The reason I asked the question, It was my understanding that if you had a fairwell meeting you were banned from making a return to the Sport

    Rye House 2020

Don’t worry the Speedway rights at Rye House have been sold and rest assured it’s in good hands, The new Promotor as a long history with the club, and he’s got brilliant financial backing, Not like Jolly who hasn’t two pennies to rub together, and by the way next Season will see RH in the a Championship

You are all forgotten that “Main Man” IS a Promoter of Birmingham Speedway
  21. Well more lies by Main Man, He says Ellis will not be riding for “Personal Reasons” When In fact he’s riding in a Grass Track in France, More ridiculous than Electric Gate,
  22. Phill we as supporters are Sick to Death of being told lies by Promotors, Therefore could the Speedway Star please do your own investigation into tonight’s Fixture Cancellation at Birmingham, I have spoken to the Stadium, I have spoken to Dog Trainers and they have all confirmed there is no Electricity Problem at Perry Barr, Is it not your duty to look into this matter and inform us your customers your come ? I have been a subscriber to the Star for many many years, So as a loyal customer please find out the truth of the matter, Maybe Lawrence Rogers is telling the Truth, Maybe not, but surely we deserve to find out, and your our only hope as the SCB don’t seem to care.

    F.A.O. Phill Rising

I’ve been a Speedway fan for over 30 years, not supporting any particular Team, Just loving the sport, but not anymore, I just couldn’t take any more of the lies and nonsense that as taken over the sport. As for Workington I stand by my post 100%, Speedway at Workington is finished and will not return, In my view Re my question to the Speedway Star, The current situation at Birmingham is typical of the current state of Speedway, We all know the reason last nights meeting was cancelled was because Mr Ellis was riding in Denmark, (he did very well scoring 9 points) There was nothing wrong with the Electric's at Birmingham, as confirmed to me by the Stadium, Supporters should be told the truth, the SCB/BSPA will do nothing, or should it be just brushed under the carpet, In my view the Press should look into this for the fans.
