    Brummies 2024...

    I wouldn't rule Klindt out.

    Swindon Robins 2024 team predictions

Not convinced at all, unfortunately. The cynic in me thinks it will benefit them in some way, with regards to knocking down the old stadium.
  3. Stevie's average was made up of 7.62 at Monmore last season, and 5.77 on his travels. C. Wright was 6.76 at BV and 6.48 on his travels. Both would fit. I'd take CW out of the 2. Harris and Lawson also fit, and Harris would be my choice of the 4 mentioned, but he's off elsewhere.
  4. 6.15 with the 2.5% reduction.
  5. Patryk will score well at the AFA once he's dialled in imo. Charles Wright fits with Paddy.

If that ends up being the case then. The Brummies' seem to be struggling to pay their way in the Championship. Unless same big sponsor comes on board, i fear they might not last the season in the Prem. If Oxford just did either the Champ or the Prem ,i think they would be ok. But to do both could be a disaster financially.

It was for sale before the season started.. You can't just give it away. It has a value.. If MT had bought it like he said he was going to do 10/11 moths ago, and make it the "Man City of speedway", you might of had half a chance, and work on the new site underway that he was going to buy.... People seem to forget that bit. As i said in a previous post, I hope MT steps up this time round ! , and a price that both parties are happy with can be agreed. If as some think, brown envelopes might be involved, we will find out soon enough. But as far as i know the club is still for sale, and negotiations are ongoing.
  8. Comes in at 40.54. But what is the points limit for 24? something between 40 and 42 i would of thought. Who knows for sure yet.
  9. Seems logical with his connection to Buster, and some of last seasons Peterborough riders being rumoured on here to be in the frame. One of the best imho, and i hope it turns out to be the case.

So are you saying MB isn't to believed, when he says things like " Trust me, it really isn’t like that" and "The fence needed replacing during this close season anyway, it was rotten and held together by various bits and pieces. It’s important to note that AEPG instructed Buster to do this otherwise they would have employed contractors to do it and send him the bill. It’s been estimated that the removal of everything will cost £25k to £30k. Buster is most definitely not the bad guy here." That i shouldn't believe what he is saying.. I thought he was 1 of the consortium of 6.
  11. I slotted King in there. But i'd be shocked if he isn't at Ippo again. Ben Cook for NKI would fit an assessed 8 pointer in. But one of us would need to win the Lotto
  12. If that turns out to be the case. I'd settle for the following... Tobi Tobi Basso Basso NKI Wright Tarasenko Tarasenko King R Lambert Just dreaming Paddy Wojdylo Wojdylo Rowe/Jenkins Rowe/ jenkins i make it 40.57 after Kings -2.5% 40.68 after Wright/lambo -2.5%
  13. Do we know the points limit yet?
  14. Wouldn’t have TJ back. Fresh blood is needed. I’d take Patryk W at No.6 if he’s available. His assessed average is only 0.01 more than TJ,s from memory. He beat JD twice in his short stint last season I think?. Once dialled in I think he’d do very well around the AFA, and deffo up that assessed 5.00 imho.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion of course. We knew the Showground was told it was it's last season almost a year ago now. Thats why MT was going to buy it then and find land to build another track..Buster was jacking at the end of the season whatever. He was only there this season because CJ bailed out...Your man said he was going to buy it then. It's a pity he didn't, for whatever reason. But I hope he comes good the 2nd time around, and buys the club this time, after all the hard work that MB and Co. have and are still putting in. No doubt we will know in due course if, as said by a few that brown envelopes are involved. If it was never for sale, and they are right, i will be the first one to give BC some poo, and it would be well justified.

Buster, still getting it after Mick Bratley, who is about as close to this as you can get to the situation, posted this below...
  17. I'd take him in a heart beat. At the least, Lynn need to win all their home meetings, to have a chance of the play offs. But i can't see us doing that without a proper No.1. If we don't hit the ground running, i can see the crowds dwindling even more. We saw it last season. Unless the Stars can attract some good sponsorship, who is going to pay decent wages to attract the decent riders. The crowds ain't big enough on there own unfortunately.

Think the lights are still up? It's a sad sight though.
  19. Lynn finished on 34.60 P/B 40.79. Second to BV. Who would blame him looking at some PB's team. I'm sure many have.
  20. Agree on the first line. The word is there is no Lawson at the AFA. Tarasenko averaged over 8 at the Showground. He could do the same for us once dialled in imho. Would be a good back up to a number 1 at home, if we get one.
  21. Id settle for those 3 if it happens. No.1 8.00 Basso 6.25 Harris 6.37 (6.53) Vadim 6.64 Would leave 11.44 for the last 2 in the 1-6 , if the 39 point limit is kept, and RS also kept. 6 teams with a 40 point limit would leave 12.44, which would make the final 2 easier, and a strong No.6 imho.

If that was the case, then i can't see how he can sell... no doubt we will know in due course. As there's 2 or 3 who are in the consortium on here. Obviously not the right time now, but it will surely come out in the end. Myself, i don't think he has.
