Should there be Random Drugs Testing At All Speedway Meetings
Bald Bloke replied to Fromafar's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
To give you an idea of the drug. Detecting Cocaine in Your System: How Long Does It Last? (addictiongroup.org) -
You could argue, it's just a slap on the wrist, if he's back early June.
-
If that's the case, it will come out in the end, no doubt.

It can't be worth much more than one of MT's cars? It must be a lot more complicated than it seems looking from the outside in?

Wolves last meeting at Monmore 23rd October
Bald Bloke replied to Spidvej's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Seems that way. So much for the shale on the dog track. -
For free . I'd imagine that a "new" Coventry would attract decent crowds with a good team. Probably just the cynic in me. But he has helped keep the Prem going, at the determent of his King's Lynn at times. I know he's far from perfect though

Could there be something in it for him, down the line? I thought he said he could run it? I might be way off, but thought i'd read it somewhere.

Matt Ford will do what's best for Matt Ford, imho.

Bald Bloke replied to SpeedwayFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Over. But with Bomber and Lawson geting the 2.5% British reduction it brings it down to over a point under last seasons (39.00) at 37.83. Not far out from my team. But i feel we need to use all the points available and must have a proper No1 for Ht's 13 and 15 -
Poole v Glasgow Championship Final 2nd Leg 11/10/23
Bald Bloke replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Beat me to it -
I might be wrong, but didn't Buster buy it to save the Prem and TV deal at the time ? I wonder why Ged sold a well run, profit making club? He must of had his reasons i guess.
-
After Buster took over at Lynn, i do wonder if Laguta missing some Lynn meetings was a mutual thing? I know KC said the team was way over his budget when he took over, and no doubt would of re negotiated AL's contract that he had with Alex. With PB i don't know TBH. Crowds were a lot better there.

I’ve had plenty of moments over the years where I’ve had a good moan about Buster and the Lynn team. I know he’s far from perfect.. But this season I think he has taken the blame for everything at both clubs, unfairly sometimes. He was as good as retired at the start of the season, but has had to step in at both clubs for no fault of his own, and has managed to keep them going until the end of the season. He signed riders near the end of the season for PB that gave his KL the wooden spoon.
