You're falling in to the 'bad management' trap. Lawson & Harris are decent but on their current averages what do they add?? They have little to no improvement on their averages which will = losing meetings.

I'm sticking my neck out & saying King's Lynn will make top 4 with this septet. If not, 100% the fans will be entertained with Musielak, Tarasenko, Basso & Wojdylo. Having Rowe at No7 will be huge.

Entertained we will be. Top 4,  i think we have a chance. :t:

Out of interest, is it Buster who is still financing Kings Lynn speedway or is there somebody else involved now funds wise?

ps. I think this is a great looking side, especially at home.

And with around 1.3 under to start with. So maybe wiggle room a bit later on. As for the  finances, i don't know. But Buster was paying for 6 of the team last season i guess . I just hope the fans turn up in numbers.

Disagree. If the points are there, use them. You can still have average improvers in your team, but the fact is if you’d been a little more ambitious and pushed the boat that little further, you could have had Harris or Richard Lawson instead of MPT. You can’t tell me neither of those two wouldn’t have made this team even stronger by using the available points. Yes I know they’ve agreed deals elsewhere and they may not have even been an option, but on the other hand they may have been if you’d been quicker off the mark.

The team looks ok and has potential, but it could and probably should, have been better. If I were a Lynn fan this would have left me frustrated. Slight missed opportunity for me.

2 British riders agreed, then did U turns. I'll say no more;)

I think the team building start for the Stars is decent.  NKI has all the experience you want & Musielak is a #1.   Basso should sky rocket and MPT is solid but coming off two poor seasons.

Think KL needs a good second heat leader to keep pressure off the Danes   Not sure Tarasenko fits that if he is pencilled in as next signing.  Two 6.5ish riders completing the line up hangs Musielak out to dry in 13 & 15.

Unlikely as it maybe what's Robert Lamberts average.

Tarasenko averaged over 8 at  home for PB last season. Once dialled in I think he will be good backup at the AFA for Tobi. Away from home won’t  be as easy, but you must build a team that is strong at home ,if you don’t want that wooden spoon again, and want to keep the fans turning up week after week. We will be around 1.3 under the limit, which might allow Robert to slot in later in the season.. I’ll admit the last bit is just wishful thinking on my part. If we can get top 4 though, you never know…

Ok the person was from Peterborough so I thought it must be true but u never know if it's correct thanks

From the last pic i've seen (Early Nov,) the fence was being dismantled. Most of the shale had been bladed off, but the track and floodlights still there. I don't know what it looks like now though

Going to be a team way under the limit if Phil The Ace is right about W. Lampart because Zagar and S. Worrall are certs apparently, No rumour about Z. Cook going anywhere else either.

    1. 10.39 left

    2. Z. Cook 5.10

    3. S. Worrall 6.44

    4. T. Brennan 5.87

    5. M. Zagar 7.20

    6. W. Lampart 5.00

    7. RS

As a Lynn fan, that team looks good to me:). They ain't gonna go 2 points under, surely.

And it’s the “one other” that will make or break this team in my opinion.

A rider like Thomson would be an amazing coup on 5.53. MPT after two injury affected seasons, not so much so unfortunately.

Edit: Well the announcement has put that to bed. Nice to dream for a few days.

I think a 100% fit MPT should put something on his 5.13(if he is fit). Having said that we have over a point to play with. Agree with Thomson, but considering the trouble we was in at the back end of last season, i'll take that team, with room for a change maybe, at some time.

The team with Tungate = 40.30 so he doesn't fit, Schlein fits like a treat though and I haven't seen Rory being linked with any other side.

    1. Janowski

    2. Schlein

    3. Harris

    4. Wright

    5. Klindt

    6. Kerr

    7. Boughen (RS)

Maybe Magic's 8.97 from 8 years ago might be re assessed to an 8.

That certainly seems most likely though I did see Phil the Ace mention about talks with Anders Thomson on the 2024 Predictions thread.

Not sure what average he would be come in on. Last rode for Peterborough in the Premier League (now Championship) in 2016 and averaged 8.29.

Can’t see him being allowed back here on a converted Championship average considering he’s been in the GP’s since.

I can dream and think we could field Musielak and Thomson, but being realistic, I just can’t see it.

It would be nice, if it could happen. He is going to cost a lot more than someone like Tofty though. On his 2016 Championship average converted  to 5.53, i'd take a chance . We would have up to 6.48 to play with if MPT isn't in  the above team.

I'll go to Ipswich for sure, I may even pop down to Leicester a couple of times too next season.

Never King's Lynn though, I don't have anything against KL fans, I don't have a problem with any of them, I just refuse to cave in to Buster's plan by doing all the things that he wants us Panthers fans to do.

    Simple plan.

    1. Work with AEPG in demolishing the Showground (Already started)

Mick Bratley, a person that all the fans on here seem to believe, and rightly so,  as one of the consortium, has said on here that Buster isn't to blame for taking the fence down, and other bits, and he explained why. Yet because he actually stood up for Buster, just on this one, i might ad, people don't seem to believe him this time?

    2. Sign as many 2023 Panthers riders up for KL in 2024 in an attempt to reel Panthers die hards in (Already started)

2 riders, and maybe Paddy W, who only did a few meetings for you, that Buster bought in .In fact i think he bought Vadim over as well, after CJ bailed? Your team finished with the 2nd highest team average after Buster bought in the riders after CJ left. Who wouldn't want some in their team.. I'm sure Rob Lyon did..

    3. The Panthers fans who do take the bait by attending the AFA on a regular basis will eventually become KL fans if Peterborough don't return within 12 Months.

I said on here maybe 200 ish, and was quickly told i was miles out. With 50 more likely.

    4. Buster has his best financial season in recent memory due to him only paying for 7 riders instead of 14 as well as seeing attendances at KL sky rocket where the die hard Panthers fans turn up and compensate for all the KL fans that have walked away in recent memory.

Do you think we at Lynn hasn't suffered over the 5 years that he has been with you. Including finishing bottom, when he won you the league. And last season after CJ left, he bought riders in for you, and helped you dump his Lynn to bottom again.

    5. Peterborough eventually die and Buster wins the game.

Peterborough had notice that this was the last season, which was always going to be his last!. It's a pity MT didn't back up his promises before the season started though. But no one mentions that, well only me, and  most still think he's the man.. At the moment, all i can see that Buster doesn't seem to have done much, if anything, is for the campaign.

If it comes out in the end, that it was never really for sale, and Buster took an envelope, then maybe some of you points will be valid, and i will be the first one to give him sh!t.

I guess you know id reply:) I know you are hurting, but just take time to read my replies. I know i'll get the usual laughing faces from the usual suspect Ricky..I'd happily buy you a pint, but can't see it happening next season.

Can't see Dan lowering himself to those kind of levels tbh.

Leaving BV for KL is the equivalent of leaving Kate Moss for Vanessa Feltz.

Might be closer than you think . Apparently Feltz gives a good blow....  dry :)

If we start the season with Zagar as number 1 we are finished before we even start . This has the LR stamp all over it .  Stefan Neilson will no doubt be our number 6 .

I have no problem with Zagar been in the team . What average would he come in on ? surely he is no where near his last average ability ? Which means we would be chucking a couple of points away straight off .

His 2022 average was 7.20. So i would expect him to come in on that.

Wojdylo can't be in then because the punters won't put up with Buster putting out a KL side 1.35 under the limit especially when he's not paying out for Panthers riders in 24.

    Musielak 8.69

    MPT 5.13

    NKI 6.64

    Basso 6.25

    Tarasenko 6.94

    Jenkins or Rowe (RS)

Leaves 6.35 so it has to be Wright, Brennan or Schlein for the final place imo.

It wouldn't surprise me to see both MPT and Paddy in there. Given Buster brought him over for a spell last season, and MPT can't be dear. Money is an object at Lynn,, with Buster at the helm.

As a Diamonds fan it pains me to agree... But I do.

    1. Tobias Musielak

    2. Charles Wright

    3. Niels Kristian Iversen

    4. Benjamin Basso

    5. Vadim Tarasenko

    6. Michael Palm Toft

    7. RS

Good looking team imo. Not title contenders, but good nonetheless

Agree. It's not to bad.  I'd rather Wojdylo over Toft tbh , but Tofty should be able to put something on his 5.13, if he is, and can stay fit. We desperately needed a re fresh after recent years, and I think a play off place is a must this time around. After the last few seasons, It's important to keep fans happy. Starting by winning your home meetings.:t:

If that ends up being the top 5 . Wright is the rider they have to sign, out of those 3.
