Poole Vs Scunny league 24th May
poole keith replied to lisa-colette's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
thought and was hoping the league would be more competitive this yr but it certainly isnt, im afraid ignoring the stalwarts who are delighted with every win many are finding it pretty boring ,not a good business model.certainly not matt fords fault the league is so bad, many promoters appear totally incapable of building a competitive team.( cant wait for glasgow to visit)For the occasional supporter weds is a "give it a miss meeting" -

Now a track grade!!god jnows what hes grading, terrible track -
No i said poole was the worst run dog track. In the interest of other forum members sanity im imposing a 28 day ban on myself from posting about the dogs
-
Not quite skids,at the time poole trainers were invited to apply to race at Swindon only a few ended up there,of those, 2 reasonable size ones are left and few small ones,3 race at Oxford and a couple at Brighton, point im making is that all these ex poole trainers between them would only have around 150 dogs, these days with tracks running up to 6 meetings per wk to meet live streaming contracts (if poole would ever get one) an absolute minimum of 400 dogs is reqd,so i dont believe greyhounds will ever return to run alongside speedway and make the stadium viable
-
Would never be enough greyhounds available to reintroduce racing skids, also it was previously the worst run greyhound track in the country and the major betting companies would be very wary of getting involved with poole dogs again
-
cvs comments are on the link from the" greyhound star" provided by "ruckeroo"

Or a good secure stadium deal !! -
Any seniors discount at oxford?
-
Would be natural to firstly secure his top flight place before worrying too much about the second tier
-
Almost always empty seats available
-
cant agree at all blue, surely with the experience and knowledge he gained at poole last season he should have been a lot further up the nl averages table ?
-
dont forget eck its also probably the worse league since 2009,this season is a frightening indication of how far poole speedway has fallen, thinking back to all those wonderful riders we used to see (home and away teams) every week, also shows the continuing and steady decline of british speedway, having said that im already looking forward to the start of the season
