That average of Newman is a JOKE and we all know it does Ellis have to be a heat leader? Doyle/Morris to be above him and surely we have another signing who will score heavier than him i hope so.

Even with Newman at reserve with another 2 poiinter if Poole dont get Hampel they are still not that strong.What average did AJ come back on 10.05.?will Hampel comeback on the same average as Lindback.? he shouldnt do.

What a pathetic rule you build a team say with 5.5 left and you could not have Blackburn/Hume on 2. point averages this sport shoots itself in the foot everytime.

Is this sort of team still going to be 17/18 quid to watch surely not.

Did Bewley get an average? i think it was about 3.36. but before he got injured he had some high scores so could be higher.Hume and Blackburn should be 2 pointers not sure though.

If you have a really strong top five and get an improver on a 2 point average it can be done.Say a Bewley,Blackburn,Hume, can mix it with the likes of Morris,Clegg,Nielsen,Jacobs,Morley, (ect).With the old format back having two low scoring reserves might not be as terminal as you think.

Going back over the years it has never bothered me the winning part,Swindon i think in that time have come bottom three or four times.As long as i see half decent racing i am happy what ever happened to a team having nearly the same team for two or three years.Now the sport is ruled by averages the sport needs to go back to trying to produce a good night out and from what i saw last year Belle Vue provided that.

When you look at Ellis/Newman's average for me Ellis looks good value,Newman for me is not 1/5 rider can maybe cope at Poole but away tracks no even though i will say he has improved as a rider.

What surprised me last year was that he coped brilliantly in the top 5 along with S.Worrall/Garrity.He is a good gater smooth and this year it is alot weaker Poole's loss Swindon's gain. Woryna to follow in his gramp's footseps at Poole.??

I would of kept those three Joe with Chris/Newman and Blackburn as a two pointer and another. There was no nastiness as i can remember it is like going to watch your son play football .He gets unfair critisism hard to take but thats life but you are right it does mean it is right though.

If you have a 1/7 that gels, that is competetive and exciting does it matter what average Ellis gets.So Swindon win the league and Ellis has a lower average you will still say hey i was right some people have averages on the brain.Have a look Orion carefully around Ellis's average and see if he is VALUE compared to others you might be surprised. Are you on another planet? if he gets between 11/15 every meeting why would he not be value.If he is properly fit with no falls no efs no tape ex he will fill his boots every meeting in this tin hat league great for his bank balance.

Until you know what the overall team is strength wise why would you knock Ellis before he has even turned a wheel.If it is a weak team and you believe there were better options out there of course you would then have a point. Wait for the 1-7 to be completed then form a opinion also you dont yet know the strengths of the other sides do you.

With those two "woz J.Holder,Kurtz, Newman and two others god they would of been hard to beat at home like most years.

I think not no big hitter KK is a hit or miss rider and that comes from me who is a big fan of his at home fine away who knows.

A better balanced team but not a better one great news for the rest of the league certainly the one who might get Holder seniors services.

You do realise this is a watered down league and this year Morris will be active and double up.Doyle/Ellis against Andersen/Young Holder i am quite happy with what we have.
