That’s a fair point. Time will tell I guess.
-
Yep. Wondered if they might be called the ‘Hunters’? Would be a nice touch.
-
Says on our website we’re running National League too next season.
-
Ryan Douglas signs for the Lions
-
With the wine my old lady drinks I couldn’t do that for anywhere near 16 quid. Thanks for the advice though.
-
4 months is quite a long time.....
-
£16 quid to get in next season. A whole pound less than this year. Sooper.
-
Aye, I like the lad. Rode really well for us in the top league in 2017. Sure he will again next year. So long as he turns up at the right track, on the right night anyway.
-
He’s also so much more cleverer, he appears not to realise which night he’s riding on. Constantly refers to how great riding on a Sunday will be. Even though he’ll be riding on a Saturday evening for the Lions. Gawd ‘elp us.

Nicholls it is, along with Connor Mountain.
-
Indeed. Probably Josh Bates & Connor Mountain. Or just about anybody
-
We’ve announced that we’re ready to make an announcement very soon. Good stuff
-
It is the major plan. And it’s a corker. Don’t forget the monthly press release from the directors either
-
Don’t disagree with your sentiment there at all. With all that’s seemingly going on in British speedway at the moment can any promoter make a profit in the top division?
-
Busk Jacobsen was that quick round Leicester this year he could virtually ride for us at no.1, especially in this new, weaker “championship”
-
Surely they can’t charge more than say..£15 max?
-
The club needs success. Even at this relatively low level we’re now at. If we start losing home meetings in this league the crowds will be very low I fear. Really hoping for once the luck is with us next year and we find a winning formula.
-
Would it be Danny King?
-
Me too. I’d be lying if I said I’m thrilled by the prospect. Saturday night speedway beckons again too I guess.
-
Track is currently 300 metres in length. I’d certainly be happy if the promotion are trying to get Nicholas Busk Jacobsen on board. Superb performances from him this season

Kings Lynn v Poole Playoff Final 2nd leg 10/10/18
Mr Bump replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Including wind? -
Certainly looking that way
-
Stewart Dickson takes over as co-promotor and team manager.
-
Me too. He’s a good man. Shame we couldn’t have had the successful season the club deserved with him at the helm.
