    Err.. why?

As much as I think it's disgraceful an illegal guest being used and that it will help to alienate existing fans it should have absolutely no bearing upon 'new fans' or those who don't know about the rules.. No need to mention it at all.

In a sport where we watch riders repeatedly smash themselves apart we shouldn't be complaining about slight exceptions to keep the competition alive.

Do you not think we are entitled to be for what went on in heat 12? Don’t get me wrong, plenty of our problems were self inflicted but that decision and MPT’s subsequent injury are an absolute hammer blow.

Not really, Adam jumped every heat so you made up everything you lost (injuries aside of course). Not sure what meeting you guys and the ref were watching.

Ah bless you resulting to abuse , complete lack of intelligence to resort to name calling but expected.

Brady at home has scored 5 in the last 2 meetings and can be replaced by riders like Josh and Klindt and Woryna who have been outscoring Kurtz.......................hope that can clear up why r/r means Kurtz can be replaced

Oh and at Lynn Brady has scored 6 and then 7...........you telling me an 8 point rider cant come in as a guest and do better than that???

I await more personal abuse................its what a lack of intellect does

You're just really boring Gavan. You know that one person on the forum who everybody is sick of seeing... It must be pretty rubbish knowing you're that person. You're literally that person on the forum that everybody is sick of. Boring, boring, boring posts being passive aggressive about Poole. You're like a jealous ex. So boring.

If oil has been used to bind the shale on a regular basis, not during a match, it is still an environmental offence and I hope a large fine ( rather than points deducted ) is the deserved punishment. To put oil on the track after a match in front of supporters shows a total disregard for them and is a further display by a promoter that they feel they can "do as they want".

How is it an environmental offence? It is their track... They can do as they please.

It might go against the recommended guidelines but it's not against the law to use an oil as a binder.

and at NO POINT did I or more importantly Robert Lambert say there was.

I can only assume people speed read his tweet, which I don't recommend:D

    You said:

    "Lynn got stuffed - expected

There was oil on the track - not expected"

The way you wrote your comment implied that both events happened during the same time frame. They even go as far as to imply that Lynn's stuffing (and boy was it a stuffing) may have been related. Perhaps people who spend too long in King's Lynn struggle with tweets and posts! Especially our little boy Robby last night who rather than pointing out an issue (that I think we've since determined isn't even against the rules) decided to libel Poole Speedway whilst also removing context from the fans. Context is very important, especially when you've just had your backside spanked, your number 1 has gone crying in public about the track, and then you post a picture condemning an oily track.

Oilgate hey.  Great win by Poole be a total shame if the fans are robbed of 3 points because of the actions of a track grader.   Still if the points are deducted won’t really matter in the swing of things.

Poole’s title there for the taking unless they do their usual Albert Pierrepoint impression when it really counts.

    Watch this space

What did the track grader do?

  7. The SCB has two major objectives in developing this Environmental Code by a) encouraging Promotions to manage in a way that is sustainable for the environment and b) allowing Promotions to demonstrate to Local and National Governments that it is a responsible Member of the community, with the ability and willingness to contribute to the protection of critical aspects of the environment.

This Code seeks to improve the relationship between Speedway and the community by paying particular attention to a) noise, fuel, protection of the ground, waste disposal and cleaning and b) the behaviour of all persons involved (directly or indirectly) e.g. spectators, promoters, riders, track managers etc.

7.1 SCB appointed Environmental Audit Officials may inspect and report on a Promotions adherence to this Code. S/he shall have access to all information.
7.2 Track Environmental Marshals shall make recommendations in respect of improving the environmental conditions by riders, Officials and spectators.
7.4 Fuel and oil must be handled in the correct manner, particularly in a way that avoids spillage

So, accident or otherwise, it's not actually against the rules to pour oil onto the track. It is however a rule that riders use an oil catcher.

So, Lambert's tweet is accurate. Surely he deserves an apology from the Poole fans. He's right, it's a disgrace and illegal to contaminate any grounds with oil.

His comments are clearly not about the racing on the track but rider's having to use oil catchers.

The oil catcher bit sort of loses credibility when you say "What a disgrace to British Speedway. Thanks Poole Speedway" when it was clearly an accident.
