  1. Jamie Halder guests for Ace Pijper Am at the EWR now weather looks good
  2. Thought I'd start this off, as other clubs have a thread started.. For me, I'd keep 4 of the 2022 side - Douglas, Allen, Lambert and Kennedy and then bring in three new faces.. With the Lions moving up, Howarth and Mountain potential candidates for the EWR?? Who knows what the silly season will bring
  3. assuming tomorrows meeting gets rained off, what would Sunday look like rider availability wise to do the scunny leg?
  4. I did hear him say to Rob G (and showing him our stream footage) of a race and saying ‘I f#####g got that and I will be making a formal complaint to SCB’ to a response was put your complaint in mate it’ll change nothing
  5. Yeah, Ben Cook for Scunny both home and away Believe Toftys still 3-4 weeks away from returning
  6. By no means a classic but the boys got the job done! Special mentions to Bastian Borke and Lasse Fredriksen, you guys were worth the admission! For anyone that bought the stream, we can only apologise as right at the start we lost our internet signal, we hope that you still managed to catch the racing! Team spirit in the camp seems to be a high going into the cup semi next week, hopefully be a good one! Final massive shout out to the Monarchs fans in the crowd, hope you enjoyed the evening

    Scunthorpe 2023

He’s tried time and time again (trust, I work with rob)… Drew doesn’t want to do British Speedway this year
  11. Decent meeting, and congrats to the Tigers... Them boys gave scunny some lessons in how to team ride and how to use the outside line. Must say I was impressed with Nath Ablitt from the Scunny side, his efforts didn't reflect in his points tally. For the Tigers, Harris/Basso/Vissing/Brennan did them guy things, was impressed with Nowak to be fair, but for me the real star of the show was Ace Pijper, who showed hes not afraid to mix it with the big lads, well done young man! Onto Fridays second leg now..........
  12. Id be very surprised if Dougy rides tbh, the crash at wolves plus multiple meets with the Plymouth shale, and going on complins bike in 15 may suggest he’s not got machinery and the lads probably a bit second hand… Bomber to commentate and race at the same time???
  13. Will be watching on the livestream - massive thankyou to Andy and his team for being able to provide such service! Don't really fancy our chances tbh but hoping we can keep it close 48-42/47-43 ish
