Masters has slipped back in both leagues, Craig Cook, Batch, Morris, Barker and Riss have been a disappointment, and thought Tom Brennan might have pushed on.

For me that Tarasenko geezer has made a massive impact in both leagues, and Ben Cook, Benji Basso and Anders Rowe have had good seasons.
-
What's your top 20?

Good season in both leagues but not in top 20 averages though.

An event yesterday at a local hotel attended by ex-riders and about 200 fans of the Robins. Ex-riders Briggo, Broady, Keen, Dukey, Ashby-looking very frail, Nilsen, Davis, Bouchard, and others in attendance, plus books, bikes and memorabilia for this famous old Wiltshire club, sadly now defunct. Never got the chance to defend the 2019 League and Cup Double.

Sheffield Tigers vs Ipswich Witches (playoff final 2nd leg) 05/10/23

Excellent entertainment, in difficult conditions, a credit to this once great sport. Well done Sheffield, especially Steady, excellent manager, and all the changes they had to make, losing 3 top riders, a massive comeback win. Belle Vue the top team end season with nought. But 3rd. and 4th. placed teams contesting final. Well done Ipswich, cup winners, great watching Sayfutdinov and Doyley, top 2 riders in League. -

Good rider for Wolves late 60s, not so good at Swindon early 70s.. R.I.P.

Superb advert for speedway, fantastic final heat on super track. Ipswich looked down and out weeks ago, now could win Double. A master stroke with Emil and Doyley in team. -

Phil Morris the race director does a great job. The clerk of the course looked like Michael Hunt?, ex-Swindon clerk, and manager of our local Tesco Express. -

Yep, strange how a few moaners like to see speedway struggling??!! Its a great sport lets support it if we can. Lost a bit of interest when my local track at Swindon closed, was walking distance. -

At least Vacuumlick won, Paddy Dalek, Magic Falloffski, and Batty Arselick missing out. Good commentary from Spotty Pickles, Greg Hardcock, and Kelvin Tatter. -

Excellent advert for speedway, some great racing. Didn't go this year, was in v.i.p. section last year, but was poor track and racing, the day saved with Bewley winning. Will probably go next year, have been 10 times, after watching this year's on Eurosport, if trains are running, hate the drive there and back. If all meetings were like this speedway wouldn't be in doldrums.Well done Vaculik, great effort Holder. Unlucky Anders Rowe, Wootton Bassett lad and ex-Swindon number 8, second then e.f.
