    The Bsf Massif !

I can assure you that I am not made up. And I think macca knows who his friends are now, if he didn't know before as when he defended a BSF Massif member on here, they then shafted him. And I can also assure baldyman that macca is the least homophobic member of the Forum let alone the Massif. Maybe baldyman should look at himself first before he starts casting aspersions? Has he any proof of this homophobia? And who, apart maybe from a teenage girl, stoops so low as to UnFriend somebody on Facebook because they have lost an argument? Pathetic.

    The Bsf Massif !

    Always a pleasure bro!
  3. Let's face it. if Ipswich can't defend that lead, then hats off to the Monarchs and a very good team performance will have won the tie overall after a poor overall performance at Foxhall. In one way I am ultra confident, but in another I am super nervous as Armadale is a place that produces results for the home team and there has been previous between the Clubs, or at least words. I can just see a whiff of controversy too. Think this may be decided at Reserve and at second string as the Witches Heat Leaders should match their counterparts. Then again, which Ryan Fisher will arrive in the pits on Friday? Have the Monarchs announced their No. 7 yet? Connor Coles is busy rearranging a holiday to Guest at 7 for the Witches, just reinforcing Kevin Jolly's opinion of the lad. Hopefully he will come through the Fen Tigers closing challenge match tomorrow, and not fall foul of the "jinx" of the Witches 7 that has manifested itself in different ways so far this season. This could be good.

And I can confirm that Sue. Introductions were made and responded to.

    The Bsf Massif !

Yes, I can confirm that macca56 introduced both me and Jim to the Massif. Thanks for that macca

    The Bsf Massif !

And can I echo macca56's words. I joined the Massif for the first time last night and could not have been made more welcome. They are a great bunch of blokes (and ladies) and to go so far as organising to design and make their own Trophy may be a first in the history of speedway. And what a brilliant idea to present it to a non-rider. Who would have though of that. As has been said on the Facebook page, Fun has been brought back to speedway supporting at Foxhall Heath and other clubs eat your heart out. Can I say that Anthony, Guy, Andy, Jim and macca56 are some of the friendliest, nicest, most knowledgeable and unbiased speedway fans you could possibly meet. I had seen some members posts on here knocking macca56 but I found him to be the least arrogant, least trumpet blowing person that I could wish to meet. Yes, he was noisy and at times seemed to be playing three instruments at the same time, but what a good bloke and I would buy him a beer and spend time in his company at any time.
  7. Think you are underestimating the progress Danyon has made and overegging Bewley's ability. I would take Hume 8/2 over Bewley. As well as CC did tonight, if Danyon had ridden the 60 point barrier would have been broken. The Club loses up to £4k staging an individual meeting and after the disastrous start to the season that just could not be considered. What an arrogant and ignorant comment. Want to reconsider Rob?

    The Bsf Massif !

Well I will be joining the Massif tomorrow if that is ok. I usually stand somewhere else when I go to Foxhall and then walk around looking to see if Gavan has actually turned up for a Witches meeting - no sight of so far. And Jim T will be moving down a couple of Blocks to join you too. I am not musical but will be bringing a double bass (if I can get it through the turnstiles) that was left to me by an Uncle and has been in the loft ever since. Jim isn't musical either but is keen to join in the Talent Contest that you are holding, as he was the Eastern Counties hula hoop champion, back in the day and nearly reached international standard and was due to represent Young England in an international competition in Buenos Aires in 1981 but the team had to withdraw when Argentina invaded the Falkland Islands.
  9. it doesn't look as if this tie will be decided by the Reserves. If Jacobs had not been unwell and Danyon not been injured, even if Bewley was riding, I think that, at home, the Witches No. 6 and 7 would have got 10 points on their counterparts. Ipswich definitely disadvantaged by the current situation.

    Rye House 2017

I would like to see Cameron Heeps back at Hoddesdon next season. When the track was right and before he blew his best engine, he was the most exciting rider I saw around the race strip in 2016. Yes, he cannot gate for toffee, but that is mainly down to the wrist he has damaged so badly since he came here when he was 15 and he is still only 20 and has (heaps) of potential still. If anything Cam needs to be motivated as he gets so down on his performances. For an Australian he has zero self confidence and, maybe, is too nice a guy. The way Josh bates was seen comforting Cameron at Sheffield recently and trying to gee him up was a sight for sore eyes and tells a story about the team spirit, Team Manager's ability and lack of understanding of the current promotion, in my opinion. If there is anyone around better on his average I would be surprised as, potentially, he can score a maximum and beat anyone from the opposition. The way he beat KB at the EoES before his heroic laydown when Robbo fell in front of him was outstanding and shows the speed, skill and even gating ability is there. Heeps was not signed as a third heat leader but that is the role he has had to perform this season after Klindt let the side down. I realise that Cameron is not universally popular on the terraces but for a rider who cares and wants to do well, and has the potential to win heats, you won't find a better option at a sub 6.

    The Bsf Massif !

Great summary JamesB but unsure why Morris gets a mention. Maybe Kerr and definitely Barker, who I am told, was the first to recognise the Massif but Morris? Also, JJ seems to get overlooked and, when you remember what Paco and Darryl were doing at the beginning of the season, JJ is a superstar. (Note to Mods: I understand that I am a newbie on here but I can't see why it has taken 72 hours and my first Post has still not yet appeared. This is getting ridiculous now as all my Posts will be so out of date by the time they appear / if they appear.) I haven't been to every meeting and like you, I am not a part of the Massif, but I would vote for BB or Danyon.
  12. Cameron passed fit to ride then and wins his first heat back. Well done fella. Oh and a jump start and Leigh Lanham holding him up in his second. C'mon Cameron!
  13. My brother (macca56 tells me that Cam has driven to Hoddesdon with the intention of riding but his medical paperwork shows he is still under advisement so will need official approval to take part. Ride safe of you do Cam for a 20yo you have had more than your share of knocks.
