EASTBOURNE V EDINBURGH June 12th
eaglesno1 replied to Hunters's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Brennan and Kemp now available for this meeting with travel restrictions preventing them from getting to the World U21 qualifier. -
Could be JPB that's been given a reduction.
-
Two more signings to be announced at 7pm this evening.
-
Parking has been free for the last 4 or 5 seasons.
-
Chad Wirtzfeld confirmed as the 4th signing.
-
With Edwards and Hagon being confirmed at Mildenhall, I'll stick with this prediction except obviously there will have to be someone different at reserve. Can't think of many riders to fill the gap, could be someone from the MSDL team, Eli Meadows or James Laker but not sure if either of these are ready yet (I haven't seen either of them ride so don't know much about them). Sheldon Davies could be a possibility, being another rider that was due to line-up for Plymouth last season. Vinnie Foord is a young rider that the management rate highly but isn't 15 until July, they may look to agree a deal with someone (perhaps Nick Laurence) to ride until July, then Vinnie could come into the side when he is old enough.
-
Only one Sunday away at the moment, at Newcastle.
-
I would have thought that he would be in too but why would Mildenhall say they are making 3 changes if they have to make more? Unless Ablitt is staying there, which I think is unlikely. Eastbourne only have 4 Sundays scheduled at the moment and as Mildenhall only have 6 or 7 home fixtures to fit in it wouldn't be that difficult to work around that.
-
Mildenhall have replaced Kinsley with Jenkins and if they switch Marson and Ablitt with two 3.00 riders their team total would come to 34.99 so they wouldn't have to lose Edwards. Kelsey has confirmed on Facebook that he has a team spot somewhere and was looking for a personal trainer for the 2021 season in the Sussex area. When Jake rode for Eastbourne in the 3 team tournament at Plymouth last season the new management were very impressed and said they were keen to include him in future plans if the opportunity arose.
-
This is my prediction: Jake Knight 8.83 Connor King 3.67 Richard Andrews 6.55 Kelsey Dugard 3.35 Henry Atkins 5.86 Sam Hagon 3.00 Nathan Ablitt 3.00 Total 34.26 Mildenhall have stated that they have had to make 3 team changes from last season, with Kinsley and Marson confirming that they aren't at Mildenhall, that means one of Edwards or Ablitt is staying there (I think it is unlikely that Eastbourne won't have Ablitt in their side on a 3.00). I believe Kelsey is back living in Sussex now and can't really see him being anywhere else.

No you do still have Somerset v Glasgow, check the fixtures. Eastbourne v Poole is the 2nd round. It exactly the same as the original draw except Newcastle and Poole swapping places.
-
You also haven't included Brennan and Bickley in the British side, who are considerably better than Gilkes and Edwards. If they were included then I would say the British side edges it.
-
Because he didn't ride in the Championship last season. Therefore his Premiership average from last season is used and multiplied by 1.6.
-
It is in the press release that hasn't been put up on the Kent website yet but has been put on their supporters group on Facebook.
-
Can't be right as Rob Ledwith has been allocated a 4.00 average, which to me makes him a crazy signing, surely Morley would have been a better option.
-
Yes, British riders only.
-
He has said that working with Plymouth is just additional, he is helping them out with the commercial side of things and will still fulfil the same role as he did last year with the Eagles.
-
8.75 converted from his Prem average of 5.47.

SGB Championship 2020 Confirmed Signings
eaglesno1 replied to TheMessiahOfTheBSF's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
I believe it does. This is the direct quote, "There is a 2.5% reduction for UK riders / NDL Riders. So any Green Sheet Averages have to be amended to reflect those who qualify." -
SGB Championship 2020 Confirmed Signings
eaglesno1 replied to TheMessiahOfTheBSF's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Ian Jordan has confirmed on a Eastbourne supporters' group on Facebook that the 2.5% reduction does still apply to British riders. -
Could be reduced by 2.5% if they are using the same rule for British riders from last year.
-
All of the riders included in that team recieved the 2.5% reduction last year, meaning if they still are using the same 2.5% reduction rule this year Georgie could be included over Bowtell.
-
I would have Kennett over Lawson. For me Kennett provides more entertainment, he know the Arlington track like the back of his hand and made some great passes throughout the season. Lawson was good at home but most of his wins were from the gate and when he was behind he didn't look like passing very often. People always say Kennett is poor away but if you look at the league stats Kennett's away average is only 0.16 less than Lawson's so there isn't actually much between them.

Poole Pirates 2021
eaglesno1 replied to Pirates Of Poole's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Nicholls definitely ruled out for Eastbourne, Ian Jordan stated on one of the Eagles fan groups on Facebook that we couldn't sign him for the same reason that Leicester have let him go. -
Unsurprisingly, Brennan returns. https://www.eastbourne-speedway.com/brennan-back-for-the-eagles/
