    Premiership League Prediction 2021

And that is the continuing magic of UK domestic speedway - deluding itself that all is well. Or abig turnaround is just around the corner. A bit like the UK motocycling industry in the late 1960s.

    Premiership League Prediction 2021

Perhaps at Belle Vue, but if you would like a little side bet on all Elite matches attendance average over the new season, say £25 paid to the BEN Fund, why not?

It is ludicrous BUT you should know "that's British Speedway", Once world class but now.........

    Premiership League Prediction 2021

It's going to be so much more than thrilling! I feel that IF it actually does run the average gate for regular leagie clashes are unlikely to top 500. Get that paid streaming working effectively to bring in extra cash. Of course enormous gates for the play offs, so why not let a computer work out the final positions and just hold the play offs?

How many make the play offs this year? Please don't tell me it is 4!

    with or without

I certainly won't be and won't even think about it without the 2nd jab - and even then Hmmm?

That must be correct if quoted by the Promotion, mustn't it?. Mind you a more likely estimate of attendances in recent years is between 800 - 1,500 so seemingly no problem.

    King's Lynn Stars 2020

At the Firs since I was 7 years old and Ove Fundin arrived. Echo nearly all of your sentiments, about faling our of love with the sport. My happiest memoroes of speedway this century were with the arrival of Robert Lambert in the NL. Now that's what I call speedway! Buster cares nothing about wether you go or not and has nver made any effort to intereact positively with the older fans who want better racing and more variety ( myself included ). As for paying to watch Lewis Bridger! Well I would want to see that he turned up for 4 or 6 matches AND made a visible on track effort to race, before I paid my money,

We are going to get a lower standard anyway - perhaps even a much lower standar. But with no lower admission and hence almsot certainly even lower crowds. One league with a much lower overall level is preferable for the variety ( to me at least ), rather than doubling up to the extent it had reached.

    Peterborough Panthers 2021

Falling crowds won't change. No chance.

Simply perfect ideas - sincerely. But if we ever dream that they might be picked up and utilised by the BSPA you need to find some way to allow one of the Promoters to say " I;ve come up with a couple of good ideas,. How about this"! Coming from a fan or any kind of anoutsider - has in the past, been a definte NO NO.

    Rye House

Once they are gone, in terms of speedway, they are gone - we must assume. The best you can hope for is a speedway related street name.

    2021 speedway season !

3 to 6 months after a safe vaccine is found ( to allow for it's distribution ) and that could mean - maybe August / Sept, but could also mean Easter 2022. I am not joking.
  15. I would like to feel more confident that "lessons really will be learnt" as that is very rare among speedway promoters in 21st Century UK domestic speedway. It should have been an excellent Live Stream taster from a club and if no-one there is tech savvy enough, it may be better not to try again? I was very, disappointed and scored it as 2/10 for effort.
  16. And if there is to be a 2021 domestic UK league, I hope it will be possible to watch NSS matches on Live Stream ( How about a season ticket? I hope it's under consideration )
  17. Thank you for responding to the feedback of supporters who used the Live Stream. For me it was a golden oportunity to see just how viable streaming may be for domestic league UK speedway in the future. I would have been unhappy if I had paid £10 so the opportunity to see what it might be like elsewhere in 2021 was very poitive. With a goegraphical limit( so that local supporters cannot take the easy option and watch from home - although I disagree with that idea ) Uk tracks can only benefit from streaming in the future - if set at a reasonable price. Otherwise crowds wil fall below sustainable levels in the stadiums ( if they are not at that point already ). From what you say every reasonable effort was made to prepare well. If that was indeed the case then streaming may not save UK speedway if it is so easily made unreliable.
  18. I called ita brave effort and it was but I would not pay even the £2 I did for the same again. Sadly the concept that feedback is all negative moaning has become a default trait of UK domestic spedway and that is why crowds have plummeted over the last few years. Listening to what your customer likes and doesn't like, is something other businees and industries pay a lot of moeny for! In the UK disillusioned supporters are seen as moaning keyboard warriors. The current Chairman is so like the previous one in terms of saying" if you don't like it, don't come". Well many thousnds of supporters have chosen that option and no longer offer up their hard earned cash for the poor product usually on offer in the UK. I genuinely hope that the Berwick TV crew DO read and take on board the suggestions that supporters who joined the stream said about the product. You can't please everyone but there were a large number who just gave up because of what was on their screen. If there were 1,800 at one point that would have been a great success at £10 a head. A lost opportunity. Have they said how much was donated?
  19. If that is the best level of live streaming that UK speedway can offer up it will fail completely, starting late ( due to power proble,s. if true that should have been checked well before ), Very poor camera work - follow the man in front and never show a complete race . Constant buffering on the stream delivery. The very poor meeting management where there is no urgency of any kind to get with it ( one of the reasons why UK domestic speedway is in the place it is with supporters walking away ). I will not comment on the racing ( what little of it there was ). For me it was a brave experiment of live match streaming - possibly the future of UK league racing, well it proved to be terrible VFM. My intention was that if it was a good taste of what streaming could be I would donate £10, but as it was so dire overall and came out looking very amateurish I donated £2 for "effort" in trying . 2/10 rating.

    SON 2020

So we will know about 6.05 pm Uk time then, when Phil Morris nnounces it? And yesterday he said if it is not on as a one day event on Saturday , it will not be held. Maybe Boris J. is heading the "What to do next FIM /BSI panel"?

    SON 2020

As some one in sport once said " you cannot be serious". Bomber Harris has long had his day and is far away from international level. Any Youngster in with Lambert & Bewley.
  23. That, then is good to hear. Thank you.
  24. That is good to know that. If by that you mean TR did not get any fee in relation to this Eurosport deal, which is not what you said. You said he was not involved, which is not the same as still being entitled to his "cut" - sounds more and more like a gang or a cartel!
  25. Did he really collect $20 million? Perhaps he settled for $5 million! Not bad for that long ago investment of time and nudge nudge , who you knowness.
