Mildenhall V Eastbourne / Iow Sunday 29th October
Moleman27 replied to cityrebel's topic in National League Speedway
Was good meeting, but it wasnt really ruined by Mountain not being their for first leg and not very good guest as would have maybe made a 5 points less gap from first leg but we would still have won easily over two legs. Plus so many ridiculous ref decisions in the meeting today, couldn't believe some of them. -
Well if you look on Eagles facebook page now you can see the apology from Eastbourne Promotion about what happened.
-
I wondered what was going on in the pits when walked past, but was watching from the grandstand and I couldnt see anything with armo being injured. He seemed too roll in fine at end of last heat and even some of the other Mildenhall riders seemed too be calm and just getting ready too go so not even the Mildenhall promotion seemed too know Armo was down.
-
No it was poor, but was one because virtually no Mildenhall fans their and alot of Eastbourne regulars werent their as know many work Sundays as get the Saturdays off so they can go so cant do Sundays.

Belle Vue Colts V Eastbourne. 18 Oct

Belle Vue dont really have a good option as Eastbourne have the two good unnatached 3pointers -

JPB still took a couple of rides to get it first time he came, and even then didn't master it first time. And Bewley did ride lakeside earlier this year in league meeting and if I remember rightly didn't score that big a score. -

Yeah Bewley wont but you can unsettle the rest of their team and you cant win a meeting with one or two riders. -

I dont think you can argue that, I wasn't their but from sounds of it track was very well prepared. So perfect for our riders and even if Bowen had been scoring well it wouldn't have made much difference by the looks of things. -

Has everyone seen, no Mattie Bates but Jason at no8. Seems another loophole found by Connor which expect will mean Jason taking all of Mattie's rides. -
Actually I agree with how many Kent fans are, never gone anywhere before were you are so hated and always get someone being quite nasty. Is why I have said the Kent rivalry is so much bigger than Lakeside ever was.

Kings V Budgies Play Off Semi Leg1
Moleman27 replied to ruckerroo's topic in National League Speedway
Unfortunately the Eastbourne management dont change to Sundays at this time of year as from September they lose supporters to the Sussex Bonfire season. And with it being Eastbourne's own bonfire night I highly expect quite reduced numbers with some picking it over the speedway. Is what I will be doing personally as am involved as part of the procession. -

Think Eastbourne will win tonight, Hopwood didn't look very fast at Arlington on Saturday. Tom and Josh were far quicker and Jake is gonna be hungry too do well as wont be able to contribute for the second leg. -
Even if Plymouth had shown fight they would not have won over after 15 heats at Arlington.

Eastbourne Eagles V Lakeside Hammers 09/09/2017
Moleman27 replied to sussex bulldog's topic in National League Speedway
Amazingly the meeting ended up not being as bad as it seems, the worst thing was the ref who was the worst I have ever witnessed and so inconsistent with decison. Worst decision was when not to put on red light on early enough as nearly let Morley and Wood come flying round bend 4 in towards Halder who was lying on the track still. -
Also Drew Kemp is guesting home and away at reserve against Kent this weekend :-)
-
No, the two of them have been riding regularly week in, week out all season because they are riding for three teams.
-
I shouldn't be though, that's as result of their decision too ride three leagues and as a result means they have no excuse to not be riding as they dont have other work commitments
-
Yeah belle Vue should have too forfeit the meeting or they have to have no facility for both riders and use reserve and a no8 for rides instead
-
Why wouldn't you, even if you lose you're watching some of the best upcoming talent. That's the attraction personally for going :-)
-
Because a rye house fan put a track comment first so city reacted as they likely wanted.
-
Yep I understand that East End Fan, have found the racing far more exciteting week in week out in the National League than when Eastie were in the elite league.

Yeah will be fine, they would have put water down anyway otherwise as been so sunny and warm today track was probably bone dry before the rain came down -
I think you will be surprised the impact we make on you're top3, but if we can get 3-3 in those heats and take advantages in ones without them then we can win.
-
I agree, is just annoying as ablitt is local to Eastbourne I expect him to end up being in the NL team in a few years. Edwards on the other hand I expected to come to us aswell intill Lakeside dropped down.
-
I would use explitives as Nathan Ablitt it from Battle and so is Eastbourne not hagon academy, please know your info first before posting.
